RemoveJoinGroupMsgBot: A Clean Chat

Uygulama hakkında

In an active group, the system lines "someone joined" and "someone left" can fill half the feed. Real messages sink among them, and scrolling back gets tiresome. RemoveJoinGroupMsgBot solves exactly this. 🧹

The bot deletes such notices automatically. There is nothing to press and nothing to configure every day.

What disappears from the chat

The bot removes service messages about people coming and going. These cover a person joining the group, joining through an invite link, being added by another member, being accepted into the group or leaving it.

Regular messages from members and pinned messages stay untouched. The bot only works with Telegram's service lines.

Set up in a minute

  1. Open your group and add the bot.
  2. In the group settings, make it an administrator.
  3. Turn on one right only: deleting messages.
  4. Save. From then on the bot works by itself.

The bot needs no other rights. It is better not to give them: the fewer permissions a bot has, the smaller the risk if something goes wrong with it.

What the bot cannot do

It deletes only new notices, the ones that appear after you connect it. Old "joined the group" lines remain in the history.

To remove those, you have to clean the chat by hand or with admin tools.

Who benefits

  • Large chats. People come and go all the time there, and the feed clogs quickly.
  • Topic communities. Discussions read easier without service noise.
  • Groups after an ad. A wave of newcomers produces dozens of "joined" lines an hour.
  • Chats with greeting bots. The greeting stays and the system line goes.

The audience is big: tens of thousands of users a month. That shows the function is in demand and setup is simple.

If the bot does nothing

Most often there is one cause: the bot lacks the right to delete messages. Open the admin list and check that it is on.

The second cause is that the bot was added as a regular member instead of an admin. The third is that the notice comes from another event that Telegram does not count as joining or leaving.

  • Check rights. Open the bot's entry in the admin list.
  • Add it again. Remove the bot and re-add it with the right.
  • Test. Ask a friend to join through a link and see if the line vanishes.

What else keeps a group tidy

One bot will not bring order to a whole chat. A set of simple measures works well: pinned rules, slow mode for noisy discussions and a check of new members.

The join notices will vanish, but spam stays until you add separate protection. Split the tasks, one bot per function, and review which rights you gave each one.

Once a month, look at the admin list and remove anyone who is no longer needed.

Why clean up service lines

A clean feed helps moderators: spam and complaints are easier to spot. Newcomers scrolling back understand the conversation faster.

There is a flip side. If you analyze member inflow, the service lines work as a log. In that case, think twice about the bot.

Sıkça sorulan sorular

What does RemoveJoinGroupMsgBot do?▼
It automatically deletes service messages about members joining and leaving a group. It does not touch regular messages from people. To work, it only needs to be an admin with the right to delete messages.
Which rights does the bot need?▼
Only the right to delete messages. You do not need to grant anything else. If it is off, the bot cannot remove the notices and the feed stays as it was.
Will it delete old join messages?▼
No. The bot removes only new notices that appear after you connect it. Earlier lines stay in the history and have to be cleaned by hand.
Is the bot paid?▼
No prices are named in the bot profile, and the description speaks only of turning it on and automatic work. If paid features appear, they will show in the bot itself. Do not follow doubtful links outside Telegram.
