My Stickers: Make Your Own Pack

About this App

Telegram has an official way to build sticker packs, but it asks you to resize images, pick the right format and tag every sticker by hand. My Stickers takes the grunt work off your plate: send a photo, a video or a GIF and get a sticker or a premium emoji back. 🪄

The bot comes from the authors of a sticker-themed channel. Its profile promises one-tap creation and no need to subscribe to a pile of channels first.

From camera roll to sticker pack

Normally you would open an image editor, cut out the subject, export the file in a strict format and only then upload it. That is a lot of steps for one sticker.

Here you drop the file into the chat. The bot prepares it for Telegram, and you decide which pack it goes into.

Two kinds of content, one bot

It makes regular stickers, which are sent as separate messages, and custom emoji, which sit inside a line of text like ordinary characters.

There is also a conversion feature: sticker packs can be turned into emoji sets. If a pack already exists and you like the artwork, you do not need to rebuild it image by image.

What the command list tells you

The command menu shows how pack management works. A good starting point is /menu, which opens everything else.

  • /new creates a new pack.
  • /add puts one more sticker into a pack you already have.
  • /list shows what is currently in the pack.
  • /copy clones a pack, handy if you want your own variation.
  • /editemoji changes the emoji linked to a sticker. That emoji drives suggestions: Telegram offers the sticker when someone types the matching character.
  • /delete removes a sticker you no longer want.
  • /catalog opens the emoji catalog.

The menu also has /create_status for a love status and /help for a quick reference.

Your first pack in five minutes

  1. Open the bot, press /start, then /menu.
  2. Start a pack with /new and give it a name.
  3. Send a photo, a video or a GIF. For the first try, choose a picture with a clear subject on a plain background.
  4. Pick the emoji that the sticker will be filed under.
  5. Keep adding files with /add until the pack is the size you want.

A finished pack opens through a link, so you can share it with friends or post it in a channel.

Telegram's sticker rules you will run into

The bot works within platform limits. A static sticker has a 512 pixel side, a video sticker is short (up to three seconds) and light, and custom emoji are much smaller than stickers. Fine print and thin lines tend to disappear at that size.

Big silhouettes, strong contrast and a calm background survive best. When you film something, keep the subject centered and the clip short: extra seconds get cut anyway.

Only Telegram Premium subscribers can type custom emoji into their messages, though everyone can see them. If the pack is for friends without a subscription, make regular stickers.

Copyright and privacy

A published pack is visible to anyone with its link. Do not upload other people's photos without permission, snapshots of documents or anything you would not show a stranger.

Frames from films, games and other artists' work can draw a complaint from the rights holder. For personal chats that rarely matters. For selling packs or promoting a brand you need your own images or permission.

A company logo is another case: agree it with the owner first. Your own drawings, pet photos and jokes with friends are safe material. 🐱

When a sticker comes out wrong

A badly cropped or blurry result usually traces back to the source file. Check that the image is sharp and that the subject fills most of the frame.

You can remove a single sticker with /delete and change its emoji with /editemoji, so there is no need to redo the whole pack. If the bot stays silent, wait a minute and send the file again: Telegram itself has occasional hiccups.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to subscribe to channels to use the bot?▼
The bot's profile states that you do not have to follow a pile of channels. You can start making stickers and emoji right after launch. If a bot ever demands subscriptions, check that you opened the right one and not a clone.
What can I upload to the bot?▼
Photos, videos and GIFs. The bot turns them into stickers and premium emoji. It can also convert existing sticker packs into emoji, and the /copy command clones a pack.
How do I delete a sticker or change its emoji?▼
Open /list to see what the pack contains. Use /delete to remove a sticker and /editemoji to change its emoji. The pack stays in place, only the chosen sticker changes.
Can I use the custom emoji without Telegram Premium?▼
Anyone can send stickers. Custom emoji inside message text can only be typed by Premium subscribers, but everybody sees them in chats. For friends without a subscription, regular stickers are the safer choice.
