Gatto: raise a pet, enter the arena

Remember tamagotchi pets you had to feed and entertain so they wouldn't get sad? Gatto takes that idea and adds card battles, competitions and a blockchain. You raise Gattomon pets, enter them in tournaments, build PvP squads and can turn a pet into an NFT. 🐱

The developers call Gatto a collectible card game on the TON blockchain, set in a world called the GattoVerse.

Caring for your pet

Pets need food and a good mood. The higher those stats, the better your chance of valuable gifts, and legendary and mythical pets can even drop TON. Each pet yields up to 20 gifts a day. 🎁

Competitions and PvP

• Competitions. Pets enter tournaments for in-game currency, experience, random drops and TON.
• No energy limits. Enter as many competitions as you like.
• Leagues and generations. Rewards depend on a pet's generation and league.
• PvP squads. Build a team of three Gattomon and battle other players.

Pets as NFTs

In-game pets can become NFTs and be traded on TON marketplaces. They live in your linked wallet as your property. Prices depend on rarity and generation, and in 2024 some NFTs reached a few thousand TON. 💎

That was the market's peak, not a typical price. Most pets sell for far less, and game NFT prices can fall sharply.

Withdrawals and the token

Per the game's rules, TON can be withdrawn once you hold at least 20 TON, no more than once a week.

The project has its own GTON token, and owning legendary pets pays TON and GTON weekly. Gatto has received backing from the TON Foundation and a major crypto fund. Check the official channel for the token's current status.

Getting started

1. Launch. Tap Open, and /menu shows the menu.
2. First pet. Get a pet and learn to care for it.
3. Competitions. Enter tournaments to gain experience.
4. NFTs. /checknft shows your NFT pets.
5. Help. /faq explains the mechanics in detail.

Where the risk is

Gatto mixes gameplay with real money: pets can be bought, sold and upgraded. Reviewers note this creates an economy where it is easy to spend more than you get back. ⚠️

• Play free first. Learn the mechanics before buying anything.
• Don't chase mythicals. Rare pets are expensive and payback isn't guaranteed.
• Separate wallet. Link a wallet with a small balance.
• Seed phrase. Neither the game nor support will ever ask for it.
