FIFA ITALIA Bot for Group Chats

You run a chat of friends who play Ultimate Team, and every day someone asks: "What is the new card? When does the SBC drop?" The FIFA ITALIA bot solves that simply: it automatically forwards posts from the Italian channel straight into your group. ⚽

Below is what the channel is, how to connect the bot to a chat and what an admin should know.

Where the news comes from

FIFA ITALIA is an Italian language channel for players of the football simulator. According to its description, it publishes news, SBC tasks, team of the week and month, predictions and other material about the game world.

This is a gaming community, not news about the real Italian league. If you are after Serie A results, you need a different source. 🎮

What the bot does

The bot is labelled official. It has one job: to forward channel posts into your group automatically. You do not copy news by hand or invite friends to the channel.

• Auto forwarding. A new channel post appears in the chat right away.
• Set once. After that, everything runs on its own.
• A shared feed for the crew. Everyone sees the news in one place.

Connecting it to a group

1. Add the bot to the group you want.
2. Give admin rights so it can send messages.
3. Wait for a new post in the channel and check that it arrives in the group.
4. Review chat settings. If the group is muted for members, the bot cannot post.

If forwarding does not work, check the bot's rights first. That is the usual cause. 🔧

Is there a way without a bot

Telegram lets a channel owner link a discussion group to a channel. Then channel posts appear in it automatically. But that is a setting for the channel owner, not for you.

The bot helps when you have your own group and the channel owner has not linked the discussion to it. It is simply a way to bring someone else's news into your own chat.

Keeping the chat readable

Auto forwarding is handy, but it can turn a chat into a feed. If the group has fifty people and fifteen posts a day, conversations get lost.

• Create a separate topic for news in a group with forums.
• Mute notifications for people annoyed by constant posts.
• Explain the rules. News in one place, discussion in another.

Safety rules

Gaming communities attract scammers: sales of accounts, coins and "guaranteed" cards. A news channel should never ask for passwords or payment.

• Do not enter the login and password of your game account on someone else's links.
• Do not buy accounts and coins from strangers: it breaks the game rules and leads to bans.
• Check links in forwarded posts before opening them.

Who will use it

Admins of gaming chats and groups of friends who follow the Italian community and want the news in a shared chat. For personal reading, subscribing to the channel itself is simpler. 📰
