About this App
You want your own emoji in a chat, but none of the ready-made packs fit? Emoji_Ru builds emoji and stickers out of your photos, videos and GIFs right inside Telegram. 🪄
The bot's description promises one-click creation and no need to subscribe to a pile of channels first.
From a photo to an emoji in a minute
The bot accepts photos, videos, GIFs and existing stickers. It turns them into an emoji pack or a sticker pack you can use in chats.
- Emoji from your files. Photos, videos and GIFs become a pack.
- Sticker pack conversion. An existing sticker set can be turned into an emoji set.
- Adaptive emoji. These recolor themselves to match the Telegram theme.
- Catalog. A section with packs from other users.
Commands worth knowing
You drive the bot with a menu and a few short commands. The list is visible in its profile.
- /new starts a new pack.
- /add puts another sticker into a pack.
- /list shows what a pack contains.
- /copy clones a pack.
- /editemoji changes the emoji attached to a sticker.
- /delete removes a sticker from a pack.
- /catalog opens the emoji catalog.
- /create_status makes a love-themed status.
- /menu returns to the main menu.
If you get lost, /help gives a hint. 🏠
Why packs carry the bot's name
Telegram requires the address of a pack created by a bot to end with that bot's name. So you can find dozens of public packs with that tag online, from themed sets to personal ones, with titles like Homemade Cake or Low Rider. People clearly use the bot to build packs.
The bot's author also runs a separate channel with premium emoji, where pack selections are posted.
Premium: with it and without it
You can create your own emoji packs without a subscription. Inserting custom emoji into your messages, though, is available to Telegram Premium owners. Everyone else sees such emoji in other people's messages but cannot send their own.
Regular stickers do not need Premium. Anyone can send them. ✨
Making a better pack
- Use square or nearly square images so nothing gets cropped.
- For video and GIFs, choose short looping clips.
- Drop small details, since an emoji is shown tiny.
- Use a transparent background when you have one.
- Test the pack in a private chat before sharing it.
A couple of attempts is usually enough to learn which images read well. 🎯
Before you upload anything
Do not upload other people's photos without consent, especially into public packs. Drawings and film frames are protected by copyright. If the pack is for your channel's audience, use your own material.
Pack size and file requirements are set by Telegram and can change. The bot adapts files to the current rules, but a very heavy video will have to be trimmed.
