VkladBot: translate and learn words

A message arrives in a language you do not read. Or a voice note from a foreign colleague that you cannot play on the train. Or a photo of a table you need to understand in a minute. VkladBot handles these moments inside Telegram. 🌍

It is a translation bot with a study side. It translates text, works with photos and voice messages, and helps you memorize words you pick up along the way.

What the command list tells you

The whole feature set is visible in the bot menu. The highlights:

• /settings sets the translation language.
• /photo covers pictures: translation, solving tasks and generation.
• /voice transcribes voice messages and video circles.
• /groups turns on translation in group chats.
• /crypto shows cryptocurrency rates.
• /stat shows statistics, and /help gives a short guide.

Photo and voice are marked as new in the menu, so the bot is still growing.

Text on an image normally has to be retyped into a translator. Here you send the picture: the menu promises translation and task solving from it. Handy for restaurant menus abroad, appliance manuals and homework. 📸

Voice messages and video circles turn into text. Reading a transcript beats listening, especially in a noisy place. Keep in mind that poor audio and heavy accents lead to mistakes, so double check names and numbers.

Words that stay in your head

A separate part of the bot is for learning. Words from your translations can go to favorites, then you review them three ways:

• /learn to practice your own words.
• /xlearn for a quiz on important words.
• /ilearn for a plain list of important words.

A quiz beats rereading because you recall the word instead of just recognizing it. That is the core of memorizing. 🧠

Translation in group chats

If your group mixes languages, add the bot to the chat and switch translation on with /groups. It helps in work and study chats where some people do not speak the language of the others.

Agree on it with members first: everyone will see the translation, and messages will pass through the bot.

Limits and premium

The menu has an item called Premium: no limits. That implies the free mode has limits. Check the terms and price inside the bot via /premium and compare them with your needs. If you translate a few phrases a week, the free mode is probably enough. ⭐

Getting translations that make sense

1. Pick your language in /settings first, or the output goes the wrong way.
2. Send whole sentences. Single words are harder for the bot.
3. For legal, medical and financial texts, treat the output as a draft only.
4. Do not feed the bot passport data, card numbers or passwords.

Automatic translation cannot replace a native speaker, but it clears routine work fast.
