Stickers Resizer for Telegram

The bot has one command, /start, and the rest depends on what you send it.

Three actions, no menu

The bot reacts to whatever you send. Its profile spells it out:

• A sticker. Send one and get it back as a PNG.
• A photo. Send one and get a PNG sized to 512 pixels.
• A pack link. Send a sticker set link and get a ZIP archive with all its stickers.

Why 512 pixels exactly

For a static sticker Telegram expects an image with one side of exactly 512 pixels and the other no longer. The background should be transparent and the file no larger than 512 kilobytes. 📏

If your picture has another size, errors pop up when you build a set. The bot removes that headache by fitting the size automatically.

Prepare a sticker in a minute

1. Open the bot and press /start.
2. Send your picture as a photo or a file.
3. Get a PNG of the right size.
4. Check that the background is transparent. If not, remove it in an editor.
5. Upload the finished file when you build your set.

Downloading a whole set: what to keep in mind

A ZIP is handy for saving stickers to a computer or browsing them in an ordinary gallery. Keep copyright in mind, though. 📦

Stickers are drawn by artists. Personal viewing is fine, but reselling other people's work or passing it off as yours is not.

When the result is not what you expected

A photo with a background still has its background after resizing: the bot changes the size but does not cut out the subject. For transparency you need a separate tool.

Check small text on a sticker right inside the set, because it can become unreadable on a small screen. 👀

Making a sticker people want to send

A good sticker reads at a glance. One large subject, a clear emotion, few small details. Remember that in a chat a sticker is often shown quite small.

• Outline. A thin light outline helps a sticker stand out on dark and light themes alike.
• Margins. Leave a little empty space at the edges so the drawing is not cropped.
• One style. A set of a dozen stickers with similar colors and manner looks neater.

Privacy

Whatever you send reaches the bot's owner. That makes it a poor fit for personal photos and documents. Use pictures you would not mind strangers seeing.
