Shinobu: a moderator for your group

Mini App • Moderation & Anti-Spam

About this App

A group grows, and so does the junk: spam, links, quarrels and endless greetings for newcomers. One admin cannot keep up. Shinobu takes over the routine: it keeps order, hands out warnings and bans offenders under rules you set 🛡️

The bot has an anime style and calls itself an advanced AI integrated group manager. Around twenty thousand people use it every month.

Punishments by steps

The key idea: an offender does not get banned on the first mistake. First a warning, then a restriction, then removal.

  • /warn and /dwarn. A warning, the second also deletes the message. After three warns the person is banned.
  • /mute and /tmute. Silence forever or for a set time in minutes, hours or days.
  • /ban, /tban, /sban. A permanent, timed or silent ban with no extra chat messages.
  • /kick. Removal without a ban, so the person can return.
  • /warnlimit. Changes how many warns lead to a ban.

Filters against junk

  • A word blacklist. /addblacklist and /rmblacklist edit it, and /blacklist shows the current list.
  • Warn filters. /addwarn attaches a warning to a keyword or phrase.
  • Antiflood. /setflood turns on message rate control, and /setfloodmode chooses the penalty.
  • Type locks. /lock closes links or stickers, for instance, and /locktypes shows the options.
  • Anti channel. /antichannel stops people from posting as someone else's channel.

Order at the door and in the feed

Welcome and goodbye messages and rules are configured separately. The bot can greet newcomers, show rules via /rules and delete the previous greeting so the chat is not flooded 👋

  • /setwelcome and /setgoodbye. Your own text and even media.
  • /setrules and /rules. Group rules at hand.
  • /cleanservice. Removes join and leave service messages.
  • /save, /get, /notes. Notes for frequent questions, recalled with one command.

Managing admins

/promote, /fullpromote and /demote hand out and take away rights. /title sets a label for an admin, and /admins lists them. /approve is for trusted members: locks and antiflood do not apply to them.

/report lets members flag a message, and /setlog connects a channel for the moderator action log 📋

Five minute setup

  1. Add the bot to your group. Tap /start and make it an admin.
  2. Open /settings. It holds the main chat settings menu.
  3. Set the rules. Use /setrules and /setwelcome.
  4. Turn on antiflood and filters. Pick mild values to begin with.
  5. Check /help. The guide shows the rest.

What to remember

The bot does only what you configure, and it can err: a blacklist sometimes catches harmless words. Watch results in the first days and use /approve for trusted members ⚠️

The bot asks for Stars as support via /donate, but paying is not required for it to work.

Who it suits

Owners and admins of communities of any size, especially topic groups where politeness rests on rules. It also fits anime groups that appreciate the bot's signature style 🙂

/setflood turns on message rate control, and /setfloodmode picks the penalty: ban, kick or mute, including timed ones. Begin with mild values and check results in the first days.
Do I pay for the bot?▼
No, /donate offers to support the project with Stars, but it is voluntary. All core moderation features work for free. For help, contact support listed in the bot description.
