About this App
Mobile internet in Russia keeps changing the rules: one day only a short whitelist of sites opens, the next day foreign services crawl. Pupa VPN is built around getting past that. One subscription carries several protocols plus dedicated locations for whitelist mode, and you manage it all inside Telegram. 🛰
The name is a joke (Pupa is the little yellow alien from the cartoon Solar Opposites), but the setup is solid: a bot, a Mini App account area and a website that share the same subscription.
Seven protocols in one link
Your subscription link pulls in seven transport options at once, including VLESS Reality, gRPC, WebSocket, Shadowsocks, Trojan and Hysteria2. When one method gets blocked, the client can fall back to another.
- 25+ countries. Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, the USA, Japan and more, over 60 servers in total.
- Auto-select. Finds the fastest server and switches within a minute if the current one stops answering.
- Bypass locations. Made for whitelist mode on Russian carriers. They work for most operators, though the service openly says there is no guarantee.
- AmneziaWG keys. Entry in Russia, exit in Finland, Poland or Germany. A light option for older phones.
Pricing you assemble yourself
Instead of fixed packages you pick three things: devices (1 to 10 or unlimited), monthly traffic (300, 500, 1000, 2000 GB or unlimited) and a term from one month to two years. The price updates as you go. 💸
The base plan with 1 device and 300 GB is 256 RUB for a month or 3,655 RUB for two years, which works out to about 2 RUB a day. Extra devices and more traffic add a surcharge.
You rarely need to pay full price. From Friday 18:00 until the end of Sunday everything is 60% off, and on weekday evenings from 18:00 to midnight the discount is 20 to 40%.
Routers, TVs and old iPhones
The bot can issue a separate router key: AmneziaWG, AmneziaWG 3, VLESS or WireGuard. Keenetic and OpenWrt routers are supported. Set it up once and every device on your Wi‑Fi is covered. 📺
In router mode, Russian sites and YouTube go through Russia while everything else uses foreign servers. The key takes one slot in your device limit.
Older iPhones (11 and earlier) and Android 9 or lower automatically get a lighter version of the subscription, so they stop reconnecting in a loop.
Up and running in two minutes
- Open the bot and take the free trial. No card needed.
- Copy your subscription link from the bot or the account page.
- Install the Happ or INCY client and add the link by QR code or with one tap.
- Choose Auto-select or a specific country and connect.
On the website the trial is currently 24 hours and 50 GB for one device. The bot description promises 2 days and 100 GB with no device limit. 🎁
The fine print
The author says he runs the project alone, without a big team. During blocking waves fixes can take a while, but after outages the service has consistently added free days to subscriptions.
Torrents are blocked on every server, and abnormal traffic volumes get banned automatically. For regular users that means resellers are not clogging the channels.
On privacy: there is no independent audit, so any privacy promise is something you take on trust. Keep two-factor login on your bank and email accounts rather than relying on a VPN alone. 🔐
