What is being traded

Telegram launched gifts in autumn 2024 and later let people upgrade them into collectibles. An upgraded gift gets its own model, backdrop, symbol pattern and serial number, and can be minted as an NFT on the TON blockchain.

5. Check your history, where every transaction is logged.

Sellers go the other way: list a gift, wait for a buyer, get paid. The bot profile lists a support contact for problems.

How not to lose your gift

As collectible prices rose, so did scams. Keep these rules in mind: ⚠️

• Verify the bot. Fakes copy names and avatars. Match the username character by character.
• Stay on the platform. Cheaper direct deals in private messages usually end with you paying and getting nothing.
• Never transfer before payment. Gift transfers in Telegram cannot be reversed.
• Never share your login code. No trade needs the code Telegram sends you. Anyone asking for it wants your account.
• Keep records. Screenshots and the deal number help in any dispute.

Collectible or investment?

Treat NFT gifts as collecting. Prices have swung hard: rare models went for big sums at the peak of the hype, and many collections lost value afterwards. 📉

Buy what you personally like, with money you can comfortably lose. Reselling at a profit can happen, but nothing guarantees it.
