About this App
Posted something to your channel and wondering if it landed? Or arguing with friends about where to go tonight and need a quick vote, not a five-option poll? LikeBot makes posts with emoji buttons that count the reactions. 👍
It is straightforward: you create a post, share it, and the bot collects the taps.
A post in a minute
The /start command begins a new post. Write the text, add what you need, and the bot prepares a message with buttons under it.
- Start the bot. Tap /start and it offers to create a post.
- Write the text. A question, an announcement, a picture with a caption.
- Pick the buttons. By default they are thumbs up and thumbs down, the classic like-or-not.
- Send it to friends or a chat. Every tap is counted and shown on the buttons.
Call it from any chat
The bot also works in inline mode: type its name in any chat and you get a ready post with 👍 and 👎 buttons. No need to switch to a private dialogue with the bot. Type your query and choose the result.
Handy in a group when a question pops up mid-conversation.
When buttons beat a poll
- Rating content. A photo, a meme, a name idea: one look, one tap.
- Quick for and against. No setting up options or deadlines.
- Live feedback. Show a draft and see reactions right away.
If you need more than two options or anonymity, Telegram's built-in poll fits better.
Where it helps
A channel author tests two cover options by posting both and watching which collects more taps. A meetup organiser asks if a time works. A teacher shows students two phrasings of a task and asks which is clearer.
In a family chat, buttons settle questions like pizza or sushi without a long discussion. Those who care tap, and everyone sees the result.
The limits
Likes under a post show the mood of a small group, not a representative opinion. People often tap out of politeness or because others already did.
If something important is at stake, do not decide on the reaction count alone. Ask a follow-up question in the discussion.
Small things worth knowing
The bot has two commands: /start to create a post and /help with a short description. There is nothing else to learn.
We do not quote terms, limits or any paid features, since none are confirmed. Check them in the bot.
If you use a post in a public channel, remember that readers see the counters on the buttons. Inflated reactions look suspicious and hurt trust, so collect honest responses instead.
