Hoba bot: the podcast's feedback line

You listened to an episode and want to push back, suggest a topic or share your own story. The Hoba! podcast has a bot for that: press /start and write whatever you want to tell the hosts. 🎙️

The bot is short and simple. It does not try to be a service for everything. It is a feedback line between listeners and the podcast team.

What Hoba! is about

It is a weekly conversation among friends about the news and topics on their minds. There are six hosts with different interests, so the talk ranges across technology, education, books, film, music, science and games.

The team includes a marketer, an editor, a producer, a manager, a tester and a designer. Episode lineups change, sometimes three people talk and sometimes two, which shifts the mood of the conversation. 😄

What to send to the bot

The greeting says it plainly: if you want to tell us something interesting, press /start. Many things fit:

• A story from life. A work situation, a funny moment, an observation that matches an episode's theme.
• A topic suggestion. Something you would like to hear them discuss.
• A reaction to an episode. Agreement, a counterpoint, or an addition from your own experience.
• A recommendation. A book, a series or a tool that helped you.

The more specific your message, the better its chance of being useful on air.

The chat and the question form

Besides the bot, the podcast has a separate listener chat and a form for sending questions to the hosts. The bot covers quick personal contact.

To discuss an episode with other listeners, join the chat. For a long question or a topic worth unpacking, use the form or write to the bot.

How to write a good message

1. Say which episode or theme your message relates to.
2. Describe the situation in two or three sentences.
3. Add what you would like the hosts to say about it.
4. Do not send other people's personal data or your own documents.

If you tell a real story about colleagues or friends, change names and details. You will not expose anyone, and the story keeps its meaning. ✍️

Where to listen and what to expect

The podcast comes out every week and covers many themes, so you can start with any episode. Scan the list and pick the topic closest to you.

The format is conversational: no strict script and lively disagreements. If you enjoy listening to smart people who do not always agree, the genre fits. 🎧

What the bot does not do

It is not a support desk and it does not answer instantly. People read the messages, and a reply to every one may not be possible. Do not expect help with personal tasks, legal or medical questions.
