Gemotest INFO: Lab Results Bot

You gave blood in the morning and spend the whole day checking your email: is it ready yet? The official bot of the Gemotest laboratory removes that wait. Test results arrive right in Telegram as soon as the lab releases them. 🧪

The bot is called Gemotest INFO. It is meant for the laboratory's patients, and about 14 thousand people use it each month.

What the bot sends

• Test results. A file with results arrives in the chat and opens on your phone.
• Preparation notes. What you may eat and drink before a test, and if fasting is required.
• Consultation reminders. If you booked an online appointment, the bot reminds you ahead of time.
• Useful information. News and messages from the laboratory.

The bot does not replace a doctor: it only delivers data and hints.

How to turn on notifications

There are two paths: on your own or through the laboratory.

1. Find the official bot in Telegram and press Start.
2. Enter your country and phone number.
3. The number must be the one your lab order is registered to.
4. Wait for results: they come to the same chat.

Telegram is not the only option. Results are also available in your account on the website and arrive by email as a file. If the bot is silent, log in to your account and see if the test is ready.

Different tests take different time. A simple blood count is usually quick, while complex tests and cultures take days. That is normal, so do not panic early.

Preparing so the test is accurate

The result depends not only on the lab but on you. A few rules work for almost all blood tests.

• Give blood in the morning and fasting, unless your doctor or the notes say otherwise.
• Avoid exertion the day before, as well as alcohol and heavy fatty food.
• Do not smoke for at least an hour before.
• Tell the staff which medicines you take: some affect the numbers.

Privacy: what to watch

Test results are health data. Use only the laboratory's official bot, do not forward results to public chats, and never send documents to strangers who promise an interpretation.
