How Elsa keeps order

According to a mini app directory listing, the bot works directly inside the chat and protects it from spam and flooding. It can remove service messages and unwanted links.

Which rights to give the bot 🔐

To delete messages and block violators, the bot needs admin rights. Grant only what is necessary.

• Delete messages. The core function. Without it cleanup does not work.
• Ban members. Needed to deal with spammers.
• Leave the rest off. Rights to change group info and add admins are usually surplus.

Before connecting, open the bot profile and make sure it is the right account and not a clone with a similar name.

Where auto-moderation goes wrong

Every filter sometimes reacts to a harmless message. A useful link from a member may get cleaned, while clever spam slips through.

For the first week, watch what exactly the bot removes and adjust the settings. Tell members the rules so a deletion is not a surprise.

Keep the harshest measures, such as bans, for cases where the violation is obvious.

Chat rules that work

Even the best bot is helpless if members do not know what is expected. Pin a short list of five or six rules in the chat.

• Topic. What the chat is about and what does not belong there.
• Ads. Whether they are allowed and in what format.
• Behavior. Rudeness and personal insults are off limits.
• Consequences. A warning first, then a ban.

When the rules are visible, the bot only enforces what everyone agreed on, and arguments happen less often.

When spammers raid the chat

Sometimes dozens of new accounts arrive at once with identical messages. In those minutes it is important to restrict newcomers quickly and confirm the bot is running.

After the raid, review the member list and remove suspicious accounts. That keeps the chat from turning into an ad board.
