Three commands that solve half of the questions

The command menu has three items, and they speak for themselves.

• /usd shows the dollar rate.
• /eur shows the euro rate.
• /brent shows the price of oil.

That is exactly what people ask most often in business and economics talk. Send a command, get a number, get back to the conversation.

What else is in the menu

The bot calls itself the economics bot of a channel about the economy and gives real-time data. The menu sections are currency rates, exchange rates, coins and quotes.

The description also mentions central bank rates, oil and metals, the state of world markets and the main indices. Check the menu to see which tools are available today, since the set may change.

Central bank rate or market rate: what differs

This is an important point that people often mix up. The official central bank rate is set once a day and is used for calculations such as taxes and customs. The market rate moves during a trading session on real deals.

A bank or exchange office adds its own margin on top. So the number in the bot helps you get oriented, but you cannot compute the exact sum of a deal from it.

1. Check the date of a rate, especially on weekends and holidays.
2. Compare sources: central bank, exchange and market rates are different numbers.
3. Leave a margin when converting money at a bank or exchange office.
4. Do not trade on one number: a quick quote shows neither a trend nor the risks.

Right in any chat
