Durov's Throne: the NFT giveaway app

The word Durov in the name makes it sound official. But the project looks like an independent NFT giveaway game, and there is no sign that the founder of Telegram runs it. The bot description promises the "largest NFT giveaway of the Durov's Throne collection" where "there are no losers". 👑

Let us see what really happens here and what deserves attention.

The mechanic: rolling for thrones

The collection consists of toilet-themed items (thrones). It has six rarity levels, including Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The NFTs are issued on the TON blockchain.

1. Launch the Mini App and roll your chances for each rarity level.
2. Choose a favorable combination of percentages.
3. Wait for the drop: a countdown runs on the main page.

The higher the percentage on a rarity, the better your chance of getting an item. According to the project, 100% guarantees an NFT, and extra MultiChance slots give a chance at several more.

Where extra attempts come from

• Tasks. Complete the project's conditions to get attempts.
• Friends. Inviting friends earns more attempts.
• Store. Attempts can be bought.

The last point matters most. Once the game sells attempts, the giveaway is no longer fully free.

The Telegram Gifts question

The authors say they hope to bring the collection to Telegram Gifts so holders can show a throne in their profile. That is the project's intention, and no such listing is confirmed. Do not buy attempts counting on that outcome.

How to treat the giveaway

I found information on the project mainly on its own pages. There is no independent confirmation that the drop has happened, and the materials date from some time ago. So check the current status yourself. ⚠️

• Do not put in money you cannot lose. NFT value is set by demand and can be zero.
• Do not connect a wallet without need. Sign only operations you understand.
• Never share a seed phrase. It is for you alone.
• Ignore income promises. "No losers" is marketing.

If you still want to try

Treat it as a lottery with a free ticket: spend a few minutes, finish the simple tasks and expect nothing. If a next step demands money or data, stop and think.

Check authenticity through the project's official channel and watch out for lookalikes with similar names that send links in private messages.
