Calendar: Your Plans, in Chat

Mini App • Tasks & Notes

About this App

The concert ticket sits in your gallery, the meeting is in your notes, and you only remember a friend's birthday when prompted. Calendar pulls it all into the place where you already spend the day: Telegram. 📅

The bot's tagline is the little calendar that could, and it rests on one idea: do not make you retype things by hand.

Adding an event without forms

Besides plain input, events can be created from what you already have at hand:

  • By text: write when and what is planned.
  • By voice: dictate a message.
  • By screenshot or photo: a ticket, a poster, a document.
  • By forwarded message: a date from a chat becomes an event.
  • By .ics file: import from other calendars.

You can also ask in plain language: what is on tomorrow, move the meeting, cancel that item.

A plan for the day each morning

The bot sends a daily plan to the chat and reminds you about upcoming events. There is no separate app to open, just a message to glance at. ☀️

The /upcoming command lists the nearest items, and /settings tunes the bot to your habits.

Shared schedules

Events can be shared: create an event group and send a link to subscribers, or share your schedule with a partner. The bot can join a group chat to run a shared calendar for a team or family.

The calendar shows public holidays and days off for your country, so you avoid booking meetings on a non-working day.

Sync and the desktop app

The bot can sync with popular calendars and with services using the CalDAV standard. A separate app exists for Apple computers, and a command gives you the download link.

If you rely on a work calendar, set up sync so personal plans and meetings sit in one list.

Everyday commands

  1. /start shows a welcome and hints.
  2. /add explains how to create events.
  3. /upcoming shows what is coming.
  4. /feedback sends a note to the developer.
  5. /remove_keyboard helps if the buttons misbehave.

There is /donate to support the project and /tip for a random tip.

Limits to keep in mind

Image and voice recognition is not perfect, so check the date and time in a created event, especially for important meetings. If you need meeting rooms and corporate invitations, a full work suite fits better. ⚠️
