About this App
Watching crypto prices around the clock is impossible: the market never sleeps, while you do. That is why trading bots exist, buying and selling by preset rules. BYBOT automates spot trading on two crypto exchanges and is controlled right from Telegram. 📈
Before connecting anything to real money, let's look at how its strategies work and the risks of automated trading. Those risks are real, and nobody guarantees profit.
What BYBOT does
According to the project description, the bot simplifies automating crypto buying and selling. It offers three strategies and lets you trade several coins at once.
- DCA. Buying in portions at set intervals or as the price drops.
- GRID. A ladder of orders: the bot buys dips and sells rises inside a chosen range.
- COMBO. A mix of DCA and GRID.
- Up to 8 coins at once. You can spread trading over several assets.
- Four languages. Russian, English, Chinese and Ukrainian.
There is documentation and a Telegram community, and a support team takes questions. Links to them appear in the bot's greeting.
How DCA and GRID work
Both strategies rest on a simple idea: do not guess the moment, act by rules.
DCA averages your purchase price. Instead of one big buy, you make several small ones. If the price falls, your average entry price drops. But if the coin keeps falling, you pile up a losing position.
GRID earns from price swings inside a corridor. It works well in a sideways market and poorly in a strong trend: in a sharp drop the grid collects coins at falling prices, and in a sharp rise it exits too early. 🧮
A fee only on profit: what it means
The project states that its fee is taken only from profit: no profit, no payment. It sounds fair, but the scheme itself does not protect against losses.
If trading goes negative, the losses stay with you, and the service fee returns nothing. The exchange also has its own trading fees, which must be counted when you judge results. Check all terms in the documentation before connecting.
Security: keys and permissions
A trading bot works through the API keys of your exchange account. This is the most sensitive part of the whole setup.
- Create a key with trading permission only. Never enable withdrawal rights.
- Restrict the key by IP if the exchange supports it.
- Start with a small amount you can afford to lose.
- Do not post or forward the key in chats, even to support.
- If in doubt, delete the key on the exchange: the bot loses access at once.
Risks that get mentioned less
- A bot does not predict the market. It follows rules, and if the market runs against your strategy, you will lose.
- Averaging is dangerous in a decline. The longer the fall, the more you have invested.
- Past results do not promise future ones. Pretty profit charts guarantee nothing.
- Failures happen. Connection or exchange problems can disrupt a strategy.
- Taxes. Income from trades may be taxable under your country's rules.
Invest only an amount whose loss will not change your life. ⚠️
Who it may suit
The bot may help people who already trade spot and want to automate the routine while understanding the risks. Beginners should first learn the strategies with a small sum and read the documentation. Do not accept "invest and forget" advice from a bot or from chats. 🎯
