BuddyMusic: Find Songs Fast

Heard a song in a cafe and cannot recall the title? Or remember a line but not the artist? BuddyMusic is made for these moments: it searches for music, video clips, lyrics and albums right inside Telegram. 🎵 The bot has more than 235 thousand users.

You do not need a separate app: send the bot a request and pick the right option.

What the bot does

The bot description lists four directions: music, video clips, lyrics and albums. According to reviews, tracks are found by title and sometimes by a fragment of lyrics.

You can listen to a result right in the chat. An album cover often appears next to it, which helps confirm it is the right song.

Bot commands

The menu is compact.

• /start. Opens the main menu.
• /help. Shows help.
• /language. Lets you choose the interface language.

You can search with plain text: a title, an artist or a line from a song. The more precise the query, the fewer extra results. 🔎

Searching so you actually find it

1. Write title and artist. Title plus name works better than a title alone, especially for common words.
2. Try a line of lyrics. If you have no title, enter a few words from the chorus.
3. Check versions. Many songs have remixes and live recordings, so listen to the start before saving.
4. Look at the cover. It helps you avoid mixing up an original and a cover.

Related bots and support

The description mentions separate bots for creating your own music bot and for questions about the service. If something does not work or you want to suggest an improvement, write to support instead of hunting for workarounds.

Remember that music bots depend on outside sources, so the set of tracks found can change.

Copyright and caution

The music you find is usually protected by copyright. Personal listening is common practice, but distributing or publishing such files without the rights holder's permission is not allowed.

If you want to support an artist, listen on official platforms from time to time. That is fair to the people who make the music. 🎶

Do not follow links sent by lookalike bots with similar names, and do not download files whose extension is anything other than audio.

Who it suits

People who want to find a song quickly and listen without leaving the messenger. It is also useful when you need lyrics to sing along or want to view an artist's album in full.

If sound quality is critical, use specialized services and keep the bot for quick tasks.
