About this App
A group grows, and so does the junk: ads, links, flooding, stickers at 3 a.m. Tracking it by hand is a losing game. Baymax Group Assistant takes over the routine of moderation.
This is the free version of a group-management bot. Start with /start, and the bot sends its list of commands in a private message.
What the moderator bot does
Baymax's toolbox is made for admins who want order without standing watch. The main areas look like this:
- Locking message types. You can close videos, pictures, voice notes, music, stickers, forwards, links, and mentions.
- Word censoring. Banned words and phrases are removed automatically.
- Message limits. A cap on how many messages a member can send within a time frame.
- Warnings. A rule breaker gets a warning, and the penalty is set per rule.
- Silent mode. An automatic ban on posting at set hours, say at night.
Entry terms for your chat
The bot can ask newcomers to do something simple before they are allowed to write. For example, add other members to the group or join a channel.
It is a strong filter against disposable spam accounts. A real person finds joining easy, while ad bots do not bother. 🛡️
Fewer commands, more plain speech
The developers state that the bot understands ordinary sentences in the chat, so you do not have to memorize many commands. Rules can be set in plain text.
It also answers typical member questions, such as who added them or what the group link is.
Free and paid versions
This bot is the free version, and the main bot of the Baymax family has a paid mode. What each version includes is best checked on the developer's website and in the support group, since terms change over time.
Do not buy anything from random "managers" in private messages. Payment and questions go through the official contacts shown in the bot's profile.
Connecting the bot to your group
- Open the bot. Press /start and see how it behaves.
- Add it to the group. Through group settings or a button in the bot.
- Make it an admin. Without rights to delete messages and restrict users it cannot moderate.
- Set your rules. Start small: block links and forwards.
- Test with a spare account. Confirm that the rules work as you meant them.
Dealing with advertisers
Group spam usually comes from accounts that join, post one message with a link, and vanish. A link ban for newcomers and entry conditions work well against them.
For real members, allow links after their first days in the group. You keep useful discussions alive and still close the main channel for junk.
Tips for setting rules
Do not switch everything on at once. Harsh rules scare off real people. Introduce two or three restrictions, watch for a week, and add more if needed.
Publish the rules in a pinned message so members know what earns a warning. That means fewer arguments with the admins. 📌
