URL Uploader X: files by link

You found the file you need behind a direct link, but you have neither the space nor the data to download it to your phone just to forward it to a chat. URL Uploader X does that for you: you send a link, and the bot uploads the file into Telegram. ⚡️

The bot describes itself as a helper for remotely uploading and processing files. It stores no catalog and offers no content of its own.

A link in, a file in the chat out

The principle is simple: you send a direct link to a file, the bot downloads it on its own side and drops it into the dialogue. Your phone spends no data or memory on an intermediate download.

Rename, repack, add a cover

Besides the upload itself, the bot can tweak the result before sending:

• /rename. Changes the file name in Telegram.
• /convert2video. Sends the file as a video, so it plays right in the chat.
• /convert2file. Sends it as a document, meaning without recompression.
• /set_thumb and /delete_thumb. Set and remove a default thumbnail.
• /set_caption. A caption that gets attached to files.

The difference between video and document matters. As a video the file plays at once, as a document it keeps its original quality. 🎞️

Uploading a file step by step

1. Open the bot and press /start.
2. Copy a direct link to the file: it must lead to the file itself, not to a page with a download button.
3. Send the link to the bot and wait for the upload.
4. If needed, rename the file or switch the format with /rename, /convert2video and /convert2file.

Spotting a direct link

A direct link usually ends with a file extension: a video, an archive, a document or a picture. If the link opens a page with ads and a button, it is not a direct link, and the upload will not work.

Checking is easy: paste the address into a browser. If the file starts downloading at once, the link fits. If you must click buttons, copy the address from the button itself. 🧭

What to consider first

Remote uploaders are handy, but they have a flip side.

• Copyright. Uploading and sharing other people's protected material without permission is not allowed. Responsibility for content lies with the user.
• Privacy. A third-party bot sees the links and files you send. Do not send links with personal tokens or private documents.
• Paid features. The presence of /plan points to tariffs. Check the terms before paying.
• Suspicious files. Check the source before running downloaded programs. The bot does not scan files for viruses.
