About this App
You run a channel and want to know who subscribes, where people come from, and when they leave. Telegram Analytics Bot gives deeper audience stats for that, but first you have to connect it 📊
It is the helper bot of a Telegram channel analytics service. It lets you sign in to the service website and collects data for channels where you made it an admin.
What it is actually for
Public stats for any channel show subscribers and views. Who those people are, which sources they came from, and how they behave is visible only with admin access.
The bot is that access. You add it to your channel and the service starts building detailed reports on your own audience.
Five steps to connect it
- Open your channel settings and find the administrators section.
- Tap Add Administrator and look for the bot by its name, Telegram Analytics Bot.
- Keep the permission to add members (some app versions call it Invite Links).
- Do not grant any other permissions.
- Tap Done and confirm channel ownership on the service website.
Check the name. Search is full of lookalikes, and admin rights should go only to the genuine bot.
Signing in to the website
The /start command begins authorization. The bot confirms who you are and lets you into your dashboard on the service website without a password you invented.
The second command, /setlanguage, switches the bot's language. Its description is bilingual, Russian and English.
What changes once it is added
Your channel gets a green ring around its avatar on the service website. That signals extended statistics are being collected.
- Audience analysis: a breakdown of your channel's subscribers.
- Invite links: find out which ad or platform brings people in.
- Removing subscribers: a tool for cleaning up the list.
The sooner you add the bot, the more history you get. Reports for the period before connecting cannot be recovered.
Reading numbers without fooling yourself
Analytics does not improve content, it only shows the consequences of your decisions. Look at trends over weeks, not a single day.
- Joins and leaves. If subscribers drop off a few days after an ad, that platform is a poor fit.
- Post reach. Compare it with your subscriber count, not only with earlier posts.
- Posting time. Test in practice when your audience is most active.
Admin rights and safety
The bot needs only the permission to add members. Do not give it rights to publish, delete messages, or edit the channel profile: analytics does not require them.
To stop data collection, remove the bot from the admin list. The service then stops receiving new data from your channel.
