This is remote uploading. The file is downloaded on the bot's side, and you receive it in Telegram, ready to forward.

How remote uploading works

Instead of pulling the file through your own connection, the bot fetches it from its server and sends it to the chat. For you that saves data and time, especially on mobile.

The result shows up in the dialog as an ordinary document or video, and you can forward it anywhere.

Commands worth knowing

The bot's menu has plenty of tools. These are the ones you will need most. 🛠️

/fast. A downloader for slow links.
/rename. Rename a file in Telegram.
/convert2file and /convert2video. Send as a document or as a video.
/set_thumb and /delete_thumb. Set a custom thumbnail for a file, or remove it.
/set_caption. A default caption.

Document or video: which to pick

Sent as a document, a file is not recompressed by Telegram and keeps its original quality. The downside is no built-in player with seeking. 🎞️

Sent as a video, a clip is easy to watch right in the chat, but the format has to fit. That is why the bot has both modes.

For archives, programs and documents, choose a document. For clips you want to watch immediately, choose video.

A typical session

Tap /start and read the greeting.
Open /settings and set what you need, such as a caption and thumbnail.
Send the file link.
Follow progress through /list.
Rename the result with /rename if needed.

Plans and limits

The bot has a /plan command, which means it works with plans or limits. File size and the number of uploads may depend on your plan, so check it before a large upload.

On top of that, Telegram itself limits file size, and the bot works within those limits. Very large files may not go through.

Upload only what you are allowed to distribute. Pirated content breaks the law and violates authors' rights. ⚠️

Do not send the bot links that contain passwords, tokens or personal data in the address. The service owner can see them. For confidential documents, use proven transfer methods.
