RandomGodBot: Telegram Giveaway Bot

Bot • Contests & Giveaways

About this App

Running a giveaway by hand is a chore: you count comments, check who subscribed, pick winners and then convince everyone it was fair. RandomGodBot handles that routine for you. 🎲

It is a Telegram bot for contests in channels and group chats. You describe the contest, set dates and prizes, and the bot collects participants and draws winners at random.

What goes into a giveaway

You build a contest step by step in the chat. These are the settings you get:

  • Description and poster. The contest text and a picture for the announcement. 🏞
  • Dates. Start and end time. 📅
  • Winners. How many there will be and what each one receives. 🏆
  • Subscription check. The bot verifies that a participant follows the required channels. ✅

Start with /new_lot, and find the contests you already made under /my_lots.

Making subscription a condition

The most common request from organizers is simple: to enter, a person must follow the channel. The bot checks that on its own, so you do not compare lists by hand.

Channels used for contests are linked to your profile and managed with /my_channels. For the check to work the bot usually needs rights in the channel, so add it as an admin.

Sponsors and subscriber swaps

The bot can look for sponsor channels that join your contest, so the audiences subscribe to each other. For a small channel that is a way to find new readers without an ad budget. 👫

Before you agree to a partnership, look at the topic of the other channel and whether its audience is alive. People who come only for the prize tend to leave quickly.

Running a contest people trust

A random draw does not create trust by itself. Participants trust organizers who explain the rules in advance.

  1. State clear conditions in the description: what to do and by when.
  2. Name the exact prize for every winner.
  3. Do not change the rules after the start.
  4. Announce the results in your channel when it ends.

Every contest is also posted in the bot's own channel. It is a good place to see how other organizers write their announcements. 👀

Open source and a manual

The bot's profile points to open source code and a user manual. If you only trust what you can inspect, that helps: you can read how the random choice is made.

The bot has roughly 5.3 thousand users, so many channel admins already know it.

Before you launch

You hand out the prizes yourself, the bot only runs the draw. For anything valuable, decide in advance how you will deliver the prize and reach the winner. If the winner stays silent, write what happens next in the rules.

Keep Telegram's own rules and your local laws in mind too: some countries regulate prize draws. Check them before promising money or expensive items.
