About this App
Do you run a private channel or chat and spend evenings checking who paid and who did not? Paywall Manager lets an author keep an eye on income straight from Telegram. 💼
It is the official bot of the Paywall service for paid access to channels, chats and digital materials. One thing to get clear from the start: it is a management bot, not a builder.
What the bot does and what stays in the cabinet
Projects are created and configured in the service's web cabinet. The bot connects to your account and shows what you want at hand.
- Project statistics. A summary of the channels and chats tied to your account.
- Balance and revenue. A short overview of earnings so you do not open the site for a single number.
- Quick start. /start launches the bot and /privacy shows the privacy policy.
Detailed settings for plans, texts and access stay in the cabinet, so you will set up payments on the service's website.
Beyond channel subscriptions
The bot's welcome message says the platform was updated to version 10.0 and can now sell any digital product. These can be files or links: guides, checklists, courses, lessons, archives and bonus materials. 📦
For an author this means one service covers both access to a private community and one-off sales of a material. You do not have to stitch several tools together.
How an author gets going
- Open the bot and press Start to connect your account.
- Create a project in the service's web cabinet and link it to a channel, a chat or a digital product.
- Decide what stays free and what goes behind payment.
- Test a purchase yourself from a second account before you invite your audience.
- Watch your balance and stats in the bot.
That test takes about ten minutes and saves you from awkward messages like "I paid but have no access". 🙂
Where paid content usually goes wrong
The most common mistake is selling everything at once. If the free part of the channel is empty, buyers cannot tell what they are paying for. Show a sample and spell out the result: what a person can do after buying.
The second mistake is vague terms. State how long access lasts, what happens afterwards and where to ask questions. That cuts down on disputes and refunds.
What to keep in mind about paid access in Telegram
A private channel is only partly protected: any member can take a screenshot or retell the material. Paid access works best when the value is regularity, conversation and fresh breakdowns, not a single article.
Taxes and the legal side of accepting payments depend on your country. If you sell regularly, ask an accountant how to report the income. ⚖️
Who needs this bot
Authors of private channels, club admins, teachers with short courses and anyone selling files and guides. A buyer only needs the bot when they manage a project of their own. For an ordinary purchase it is not required.
