About this App
Download a file, grab a discount, join a forum: nearly everything asks for an email. Give your real one and within a week your inbox is full of newsletters, and sometimes your address ends up in spam databases.
Hide My Email fixes this with aliases. Create a separate address for each site, and messages arrive right in Telegram. ✉️
It is the Telegram version of an email alias service that also runs as a website with browser extensions.
What an alias is
An alias is an extra email address that forwards mail onward without revealing your real inbox to the sender. They only ever see the alias. 🎭
If spam starts arriving, switch the alias off with one tap and your main inbox stays clean.
How it works in Telegram
- Launch. Tap Open and start the bot.
- New address. /create makes a new email alias.
- Sign up. Use that address on a site instead of yours.
- Mail. Everything sent to the alias lands in your chat with the bot.
- Mini app. /web opens the alias dashboard.
Name each alias after the site you use it for, so you always know where a message came from.
Free and Premium
- Free plan. The creators promise free aliases forever.
- Premium. /pay buys a plan with 100 addresses a month and higher limits.
- Terms. /terms opens the terms of service.
The main service lists a maximum email size of 10 MB, so heavy attachments may not get through.
Where aliases shine
- Sketchy sites. Download that enter-your-email file without risking your main inbox.
- Free trials. A separate address for each subscription you plan to cancel.
- Leak tracking. If one site's alias gets spam, you know exactly who leaked the list.
- Classifieds and shops. Buy from unknown sellers without exposing your work address.
Where not to use an alias
Important accounts are safer on your real email. ⚠️
- Bank and government services. Account recovery should go to an inbox you'll always keep.
- Primary account email. If the alias service ever shuts down, recovering passwords gets hard.
- Work email. Colleagues and clients prefer a permanent address.
Privacy
Messages pass through the service's servers before reaching Telegram. That is normal for this kind of tool, but don't receive bank passwords or document scans on an alias. For sensitive mail, use your main secure inbox with two-step verification. 🔒
The creators also run their own VPN bot, linked in the description.
