About this App
Do you run a private channel or chat and hate collecting payments by hand, tracking who paid and removing those who did not? Eteller takes that chore over: the bot organises paid subscriptions to Telegram channels and chats 💳
For the reader it is simple: pay and get access. For the channel owner it means no more spreadsheets.
How a paid subscription works through the bot
The owner connects the bot to a channel or chat, sets up payment methods and a subscription period. Then everything follows the script.
- Payment. The member pays using the methods the owner chose.
- Access. After payment the person gets into the private channel or chat.
- Reminder. Before the period ends, the bot warns the subscriber.
- Removal. If the subscription was not renewed, the bot removes the person.
The result is an automatic funnel without checking every payment manually.
Who needs it
Paid subscriptions in Telegram are no longer exotic. Authors of courses, market breakdowns, private clubs, recipes and consultations use them. If you have something people will pay for regularly, a bot spares you the manual work.
For an ordinary subscriber Eteller acts as the cash desk: you see the terms you are joining and pay as agreed.
Connecting a channel
- Open the bot and start it with the Start button.
- Follow the prompts to link a channel or chat.
- Choose payment methods and the subscription period.
- Publish the payment link and test it yourself.
The project has a video guide and technical support, linked in the bot's description. If you get stuck on a step, begin with those 🎬
What to check before launch
Payment terms and fees are best confirmed in the bot or with support before sales begin. Work out what remains after fees and taxes and compare it with your expectations.
Make sure the bot has admin rights in your channel, otherwise it cannot add or remove people. This is the most common reason for "nothing works" 🔧
Tips for channel owners
Describe the subscription honestly and briefly: what a person gets, for how long and how to cancel. Clear rules reduce disputes and refunds.
Plan ahead for people who paid but did not get in. Give a contact and answer quickly.
Do not promise what you cannot deliver. Subscriber trust is worth more than a one-off payment 🙂
If you are the one paying, make sure the channel is genuine, and never send money to a private person's card because a stranger asked in a direct message.
