About this App
Your post is ready, but it should go live at nine in the morning, when you are asleep. Or you run three channels.
BaslayBot is a scheduler with a focus on formatting: you can edit everything, including albums, buttons, and watermarks. 🗓
Why use a scheduler
Regularity matters more than inspiration. Readers get used to opening a channel at the same time, and steady publishing keeps a channel alive. Delayed posting lets you write posts in one evening and spread them across the week.
BaslayBot also has a content plan, where you can see what is scheduled and what has already gone out.
Connecting it to a channel
The scheme is unusual. The bot works through your own publishing bot, and posts go out under its name. The /newbot command creates that posting bot.
- Create a bot with the official Telegram service for bots and get a token.
- Send /newbot and pass the token.
- Add your bot to the channel as an admin.
- Open /settings and tune the parameters.
The token is the key to your bot. Show it to nobody, and reissue it if you suspect a leak. 🔐
Formatting is the main card
The bot describes itself as focused on post design and promises that everything can be edited. Reviews list an impressive set of tools.
- Albums. Change the order and contents of media without rebuilding the post.
- Buttons. Any buttons under a post, and you can rearrange them.
- Watermarks. A signature or logo on photos, videos, and albums, so you are credited when content is reposted.
- Timers. Publishing, unpinning, and auto-repeat on a schedule.
- Auto-signature. One signature under every post.
Bot commands
There are only a few: /start restarts the bot, /newbot creates a posting bot, /settings opens the settings, /language switches the language, and /help gives a guide. Everything else is done with buttons in the chat.
Check this before your first post
Publish a test post in a private channel. You will see how the buttons and the watermark look on different devices. 🙂
A watermark should not cover an important part of the image. Keep it small and semi-transparent.
Check your time zone. If the time is wrong, the post goes out when you did not expect it. It is easier to verify once than to sort it out later.
Who it suits
Authors of several channels, social media managers, and anyone who blogs on a schedule. If you have one small channel and post at random moments, the toolset is more than enough, and you can use it as needed. ✨
Telegram limits still apply: caption length, the number of files in an album, and attachment size. The bot helps you work neatly inside those limits but does not remove them.
