Autokick Bot for closed groups

Sometimes a group is already assembled and everyone belongs there, yet random people and spammers keep walking in. Autokick Bot handles that bluntly: it kicks out everyone who tries to join. 🚪

The bot is written in Portuguese, and it has one purpose. Its description lists no detailed settings or pricing, and it has a single command: /start.

One rule, no exceptions

Most anti-spam bots screen a newcomer: they ask for a button tap, a captcha or a wait. Autokick Bot does no screening. Whoever enters is out the door right away.

It is a crude but clear tool. It belongs where the goal is "let nobody in", not "let only real people in".

When this level of strictness makes sense

  • A closed work group. The roster is settled and nobody else will be added.
  • A family or friends chat. New members rarely appear, and strangers are unwelcome.
  • A spam wave. Advertising bots flood the group and you need to stop the inflow fast.
  • A pause during an event. For example, while a discussion goes on that outsiders should not see.

If you need ordinary screening of newcomers rather than a full ban, an anti-spam bot with a captcha fits better. A hard kick will also remove people you wanted to invite.

Putting the bot into a group

  1. Find Autokick Bot in Telegram search and open it with /start.
  2. Add the bot to your group.
  3. Make it an administrator with the right to remove members.
  4. Test it: ask an acquaintance to join through a link and confirm they get kicked.

Admin rights are required, since without them the bot cannot remove anyone. That is also the main risk, covered below. ⚠️

What to keep in mind before switching it on

The bot ejects everyone who enters, so while it is active you cannot invite a friend. To add a person you have to take the bot out of the admin list, or out of the group, for a while.

It cannot tell a spammer from someone you invited yourself. There is no exception list, so plan for the simplest scenario. 🔧

Admin rights: be careful

A bot that can remove members gets serious power in the group. Give it only what it needs, and leave out extras such as the right to appoint new admins.

This is a small bot, and little is public about its author. So connect it to a test group first. If something goes wrong, you lose little. Bring it into an important chat only after checking.

If you no longer need it

Remove it from the administrators and then from the group. The fewer outside admins, the fewer risks for the chat. If the group should stay closed anyway, Telegram's own tools can do the job: turn off the public invite link and hand out invitations by hand.

Pertanyaan yang sering diajukan

What does Autokick Bot do?▼
The bot automatically removes everyone who tries to join your group. It asks no questions and does not screen newcomers. Its only command is /start.
What rights does the bot need in a group?▼
Administrator with the right to remove members. Without it the bot cannot kick anyone. Leave out the other rights, and test the bot in a spare group before using it in an important chat.
Can I add a friend while the bot is on?▼
Most likely not: the bot kicks anyone who enters and cannot tell an invitee from a stranger. To add a person, take the bot out of the admin list or out of the group for a while.
How is this different from ordinary spam protection?▼
Anti-spam bots usually check a newcomer with a captcha or a button and let those who pass in. This bot lets nobody in. It suits closed chats, but not open communities that need new people.
