You want to open the Quran in a free minute, on the road or before bed, but you do not feel like hunting for a separate app? Al-Quran works right inside Telegram: press Start and begin reading. 📖
The bot is made for people who want the sacred text close at hand, in the same place as the rest of their chats. The greeting in the profile is written in Arabic and in Latin transliteration, so the tone is clear from the first line.
Two ways to find your place
The text in the bot is divided in two familiar ways:
- Surahs. There are 114 of them, and each can be opened by name or number. Handy when you know exactly what you want to read.
- Juz. The Quran is split into 30 parts of roughly equal length. This division suits readers who follow a plan, for example one part per day.
Pick the format you like and go straight to reading without scrolling through pages. 🔖
Read and listen
The profile says audio is available in the bot as well. It comes in handy when you cannot look at the screen: behind the wheel, on a walk, or while doing chores. 🔉
If you are learning the Arabic text, audio helps you hear the correct pronunciation. Read aloud along with the recording and the words stick faster than they do from reading alone.
Who will find it convenient
- Daily readers. No separate program, everything sits in the messenger.
- Beginners. The split into surahs and juz makes it easier not to get lost in the volume.
- People on the move. The bot needs no installation and runs on any device that has Telegram.
- Tamil-speaking readers. The word Tamil in the bot's name shows which audience it is aimed at. Which translations and languages are available becomes clear right after you start it.
Getting started
- Open the bot and press Start.
- Choose how to read: by surah or by juz.
- Open the section you need and read.
- If audio exists for that part, play it and listen.
You do not need to memorize a list of commands: the profile simply says to press Start. ✨
Making reading a habit
For most people the hard part is not access to the text but regularity. A bot will not build the habit for you, but it can make it easier.
Choose a fixed time, for example after the evening prayer, and read in small portions. Five minutes every day beat one hour once a month. One juz a day completes the full circle in a month, and if that is too much, start with a short surah. 🌙
Worth keeping in mind
For believers, the text of the Quran is sacred, so the source deserves attention. If you use an electronic version for study, check important passages against a printed edition or the explanation of a trusted teacher.
Translations carry the meaning but do not replace the original. For questions of interpretation and law, ask knowledgeable people instead of looking for an answer in a bot. For reading aloud and listening, the app itself is enough, and explanations are better taken from reliable sources. 🤲
