ऐप के बारे में
विवरण अभी आपकी भाषा में उपलब्ध नहीं है, इसलिए इसे अंग्रेज़ी में दिखाया गया है।
People from different countries share a group, and half of the messages go unread because of the language. Some paste text into a translator, others stay silent. TransChat translates right inside the chat, so nobody has to leave the conversation 🌍
It is an AI bot for Telegram group chats. Its profile says it translates dozens of languages. The bot's own interface is in English.
A translator inside the conversation
An ordinary translator lives elsewhere: copy, paste, go back. Here the idea is different. You add the bot to a group, and translation happens where the talk takes place.
Members write in their own language and read each other without extra steps. For international communities, study groups and work chats with colleagues abroad, that saves a lot of time ⏱
How AI translation differs from a dictionary
Neural translation takes the context of the whole phrase into account, not single words. It copes better with casual speech and with word order, which differs between languages.
It still makes mistakes. Wordplay, slang, abbreviations and local expressions come out inexact, and names or titles sometimes turn into ordinary words 🤔
Connecting the bot to a group
- Open the bot in Telegram and tap Start.
- Add it to the group from the members menu.
- If the bot does not see messages, make it an administrator of the group.
- Test it with a short phrase in another language.
The exact set of settings and commands appears after you start the bot. Look in its menu or help, where the interface language is English.
Before you add it
A bot that reads a group's messages gets access to what people write there. For open community chats that is fine, but for closed work chats think twice 🔐
- Tell the members. People should know a bot processes their messages.
- Keep secrets out. Passwords, documents and trade secrets are better not written in such a chat.
- Bot permissions. Grant only what the job needs. A translator has no use for rights to delete or ban.
- Double-check what matters. Confirm agreements, figures and dates with a person.
When translation will not replace a human
For the general sense and everyday talk, such a bot is enough. For legal texts, medicine and contracts machine translation falls short: one wrong word changes the meaning.
If you write something important, reread the result in both languages or ask someone who knows them. You will catch the differences before they turn into a problem 📝
Who it is for
The bot suits admins of international communities, language-learning groups and teams whose colleagues speak different languages. Learners can compare their own text with the translation, but should not lean on it completely 🎓
If you need to translate a single message outside a group, an ordinary translator will do. The value here is the group chat.
