About this App
Tokyo is carved up between clans, and you have to find your place in it. Tokyo Yakuza is a Telegram strategy game where you collect fighters, claim districts and take income from rivals. It runs as a mini app and uses the TON network. 🏯
Join a family or build an empire
According to the developers, you can join an oyabun's family as a kobun and get backed with the in-game currency YZA, territory or characters. Or you can go your own way and build a criminal empire.
The game leans on real players rather than bots: people form the families, and their choices shift the balance of power.
What you do on the map
- Gacha summons. One sake cup gives one character, ten cups give eleven. A pity counter guarantees SR or better within 20 pulls. Drop rates sit behind the info button.
- Lineups. Three setups: attack, headquarters defense and defenders. An auto-optimize button is available.
- PvP. Take income from rivals, and check battle history and rankings.
- Cho-han dice. A bet on even or odd. It is a gambling mini-game, and a loss still pays something, a bit smaller than a win.
- Territories. A map of Tokyo where districts bring passive hourly income.
YZA and KIWAMI explained
YZA is the in-game currency: you spend it on summons, dice and gear. It comes from territories and street jobs, and you press a button to collect it. Withdrawing YZA to a TON wallet is marked as a future feature.
The second token, KIWAMI, is used to found a gang (893 KIWAMI), for tournament battles and for minting NFTs. You buy it with TON, which is real money. Sake cups can be bought with Telegram Stars or YZA.
Starting without spending
- Accept the terms and open the game.
- Collect YZA from your first jobs.
- Summon characters with sake cups.
- Set attack and defense, then raid a rival.
The site says the game is free and that no wallet is needed to begin. New players get 21 free sake cups.
The catch
A play-to-earn game is built on tokens that can lose value. YZA withdrawal does not work yet, and income is not guaranteed. Read any promise of "earnings" as advertising.
Gacha and dice are gambling mechanics: the more you spend, the stronger the pull to repeat. Set a limit beforehand and never buy KIWAMI with money you need. The crime theme is fiction, but a game with gambling mechanics is not suitable for teenagers. ⚠️
