About this App
You have a nice logo or illustration in SVG and want to bring it to life as a sticker. That normally takes After Effects and a dedicated plugin. SVG to TGS skips that and uses your browser: upload the drawing, pick an animation, download a .tgs file. 🎨
The Telegram bot is the entry point, while the editor itself opens in the browser.
Five steps from drawing to file
- Upload a vector SVG and sign in with Telegram.
- Pick a preset or the static mode with no motion.
- Check the preview and fix any validation warnings.
- Download the .tgs file.
- Add it to a pack with Telegram's official sticker tool.
SVG parsing, animation and TGS generation all run in the browser.
The tight frame Telegram sets
Animated stickers use one specific file type. Telegram defines the TGS format and its limits are strict. The built-in checker blocks downloads that break them.
- Canvas: 512 × 512 pixels, with nothing outside it.
- Size: no more than 64 KB.
- Length: up to 3 seconds.
- Frame rate: 60 frames per second, and the animation should loop.
What the tool will not take
Only vector SVG files are accepted. PNG, GIF, Lottie JSON and existing TGS files will not work. Embedded images and live text are ignored, so convert text to outlines first.
Filters, masks and patterns may need reworking. If the SVG has more than 60 editable vector elements, only the static mode is available. ⚠️
Squeezing under 64 KB
The size cap is usually the main hurdle. The exporter tries to optimise automatically, but complex artwork can defeat it.
- Simplify paths: drop extra nodes and tiny details.
- Animate fewer layers: only part of the drawing needs to move.
- Trim gradients: flat colours weigh far less.
Free versus Pro
After signing in with Telegram, conversion, the free animation presets, the preview and TGS download cost nothing. Paid Pro adds more animation options, a Telegram preview and pack automation. The service page lists no price, so check it on the spot. 💡
A word on file privacy
The service states that choosing a file sends a copy to its server for diagnostics, even before Telegram login. With paid features, exported files pass through the service on their way to Telegram. If your artwork is confidential, keep that in mind. 🔐
The service is independent and not affiliated with Telegram. The bot has a single /start command and acts as the doorway, after which you work in the web editor.
