Easy, medium, hard, expert

There are four levels, and they genuinely differ in the techniques needed. Easy needs only obvious digits. Expert will not give way without advanced logic.

The completion screen shows which level you played, so tracking progress is simple.

A hint that explains instead of just telling

The hint button works with an explanation: you can learn why exactly this digit fits into a cell. The breakdowns mention named techniques such as naked and hidden pairs, X-Wing, Swordfish, Y-Wing and chains.

That separates the app from those where a hint just fills in a digit. Here you can learn rather than copy an answer. 💡

• Hints. A starting supply is there, and extra ones come from watching an ad.

• Notes. Toggle candidate notes on and off, and auto fill removes the routine.

The daily puzzle and calendar

A new puzzle appears every day. A yearly calendar marks completed and missed days, which holds a habit well.

A missed day can be played later, but the game will offer an ad. Regular players get part of the calendar, and VIP opens more days.

What is a candidate pair? If two cells in one row can hold only the digits 3 and 7, those digits are taken by them, and you can remove them from the other cells of the row. A simple technique, yet on medium levels it saves a lot of time.

X-Wing and Swordfish are harder: they work with several rows and columns at once. Do not be scared by the names. Seeing the breakdown once on your own puzzle fixes the pattern better than any article. 🎯

Play in short sessions of 10 to 15 minutes. A tired brain misses the obvious, and a fresh one sees it at once.
