A quiet group dies fast: nobody speaks because there is nothing to discuss. Shreya gives the group a shared character to talk with. Her profile calls her a girl living in her own world. It is a bot with personality, games and an in-bot currency made for groups. 🎲

Its command list is longer than for most utilities, so let us take it in pieces.

Coins everybody counts

An internal currency called TalkCoins sits at the base. You can earn it, hoard it and give it away.

• /daily hands out a daily portion of coins.
• /wallet and /profile show your balance, items and stats.

• /give sends coins to another member by replying to their message.
• /shop opens a store where coins can be spent.

These coins exist only inside the bot and have nothing to do with real money.

Rankings and contests

Groups love seeing who leads, so the bot keeps leaderboards.

• /top and /rank show experience and your place within your group.
• /gtop lists the global ranking across all groups.
• /rich and /grich rank the wealthiest players.
• /tournament and /register handle tournaments, and only an admin can register a group.

Games for every taste

The game side is large. It includes dice, darts, slots, hangman, tic-tac-toe, a map-based country guessing game and a word scramble. Many are multiplayer, which suits a chat of friends.

There are social toys as well: a group story, couple compatibility, a list of the group's top pairs and a couple of the day. Playful commands like compliments and roasts work best where everyone knows it is a game. 😄

What about gambling?

The list includes betting commands: /gamble, /lottery and slots. Bets are made in internal coins, not money, but the habit of gambling can form even on virtual stakes.
