About this App
Your crypto sits in an account, but the coffee shop and the streaming subscription want an ordinary card. A clumsy exchange has always stood between those worlds. RedotPay tries to remove it: you fund a card with stablecoins and pay wherever regular cards are accepted. 💳
The service is now in Telegram too: the mini app opens from the bot with the /start command.
A card in a few minutes
According to the service itself, you can get a virtual card in minutes. You top it up with stablecoins and pay online, in stores or while traveling. It claims acceptance at more than 130 million merchants worldwide and five million users.
Those figures come from the project itself, so it is wise to read independent reviews as well.
What the bot does
Besides the mini app, the bot has a few commands:
- /start. Opens the mini app.
- /help. Connects you with online support, which runs around the clock.
- /verify. Checks your account ID so you can join regional groups.
- /app. Points you to the main app download.
- /cooperation. For business proposals about the mini app.
Why stablecoins
A stablecoin is pegged to an ordinary currency, most often the dollar. Its price barely moves, so it is easier to pay with than volatile coins. But barely is not never: an issuer can run into trouble, and the peg can weaken.
When you pay by card, you effectively sell stablecoins at the moment of purchase. The merchant receives regular money.
The catch: fees and restrictions
Crypto cards almost always carry layers of cost. Reviews mention an issuing fee, a conversion fee and a foreign exchange fee, plus separate terms for cash withdrawals and for topping up by bank card.
Amounts change, and reviews quote different numbers. Look at the current fee table inside the app before you fund anything. ⚠️
Second point: the service is not available everywhere. Reviews and the help center name regions where the card is not supported, including Russia, the US and China. The list can change, so check your own country before paying.
Keeping your money safe
The balance on the card is held by the service. It is not a bank deposit and is usually not insured. An account can be frozen during a legally required review. Keep on the card what you need for upcoming spending, not all your savings.
- Turn on every available account protection, including two-factor authentication.
- Never share codes or card details, even with a support agent in private messages.
- Test with a small top-up before a large payment.
- Keep receipts and transaction history in case of a dispute.
Who could use it
People who earn in stablecoins and want to spend without a slow withdrawal to a bank account. Travelers who need a backup card. Anyone paying for foreign services.
If you hold crypto purely as an investment, think about whether a card is needed at all: every conversion costs money.
Regional groups and support
The project runs regional groups for users, and entry is checked through your account ID. They usually discuss news and questions. Treat any request from support to forward codes or pay to restore access as a scam. 🔒
