Link19: short links inside Telegram

A long link with a tail of UTM tags looks clumsy in a post, and old short links sometimes die when the service shuts down. Link19 shortens links inside Telegram and promises they will not expire after a month. 🔗

The bot has the commands /mylinks, /mystats, /smartlink and /pay, plus a mini app with a control panel in Russian.

What the link dashboard holds

In the mini app you can create, edit and delete short links, filter them by status (active, blocked, expired) and sort by date or clicks.

• Statistics. Total and unique clicks, a daily chart, and breakdowns by platform, source and geography. The bot's description calls it real-time data.
• QR code. Every link has a downloadable PNG QR, handy for printed materials.
• Events and alerts. An activity feed and click notifications.

One link, three routes: Smart links

A smart link sends people to different places depending on device and country. You can set separate addresses for iOS and Android and add geo-targeting. The order of checks is geography first, then platform, then the default address.

Example: an app has two store pages, and one short link in a post sends each reader to the right store. You create such a link with /smartlink. 📱

UTM tags without manual assembly

UTM tags are address parameters that tell analytics where a visitor came from: source, medium and campaign. Link19 keeps templates for these tags, and content and term are optional. Reports show your top campaigns, sources and mediums.

Tip: agree with yourself on one spelling. If one place says telegram and another says Telegram, analytics will count them as different sources. 🙂

What 19 rubles buys

The bot description lists a subscription at 19 rubles a month, with the first month for 1 ruble. The mini app shows Premium paid in Telegram Stars, monthly or yearly. Check the exact amount and payment method in the bot before buying, because prices can change.

Premium brings unlimited links, advanced analytics, smart links, UTM templates and links with no expiry. That suggests links without a subscription may have a lifespan and some features are limited. Do not print an important link on a big run until you have checked the terms of your plan.

Before you advertise in Telegram

Telegram Ads rules on shorteners in ads have changed over time, and sources disagree. Before launching a paid campaign, check the current moderation requirements. For ordinary channel posts, newsletters and business cards, a shortener is fine.

Keep privacy in mind too: a short link records clicks, so tell your audience if you collect statistics on sensitive topics.
