ITOhub: escrow for Telegram deals

Mini App • Marketing & Sales

About this App

Selling a channel or buying an ad in Telegram is familiar to many admins, and so is how it goes wrong: either the buyer pays and gets a dud, or the seller hands over the channel and never gets paid. ITOhub tries to remove that trust problem with escrow. 🔐

It is a Mini App and bot for direct deals between admins. Money is locked in a TON smart contract until the terms of the deal are met.

How a deal runs

The scheme rests on one rule: the seller does not get paid until the buyer receives the goods.

  1. The seller creates an offer: an ad slot or a whole channel.
  2. The buyer pays, and the funds are locked in the smart contract.
  3. The seller delivers: places the ad or transfers rights to the channel.
  4. After confirmation, payout goes to the seller automatically with a public receipt.

If the sides disagree, a dispute is possible, and a deal can be cancelled. See the service documentation for procedure details.

How this differs from a middleman

On the channel market the middleman is usually a person: you find them in a chat, send them money and hope they are honest. ITOhub replaces that person with contract code. The service describes itself as transparent, anonymous and free of guarantors.

The fee, according to the service, is 3%. Confirm it in the app before a deal, since terms can change. 💬

What you can buy and sell

  • Ad placements. A post in a channel for an agreed time.
  • Whole channels. Transfer of ownership together with the audience.

The intended users are channel admins, advertisers and buyers. Ratings and reviews built from deal history help you judge a counterparty.

What the protection covers and where it ends

The smart contract ensures money sits in lock and leaves by the rules. It cannot see what happens inside Telegram: whether the audience is real, whether subscribers are inflated, whether the seller keeps access to the account.

So you must check channel quality yourself. That is the main risk of any channel deal. ⚠️

What to check before paying

  1. Channel statistics: reach, subscriber trend, traffic sources.
  2. Channel history: renames, topic changes, bans.
  3. Ad terms: timing, format, the option to remove a post.
  4. The counterparty's reputation in the service: deals and reviews.
  5. What the fee covers and who pays it.

Start with a small deal to learn the mechanics rather than buying an expensive channel.

Crypto deal risks

Settlement runs on the TON network, so you need a wallet and some crypto literacy. The token price can move while a deal is open. A mistake in a wallet address cannot be reversed.

Never share your seed phrase, even if someone asks you to confirm a deal. Ask whether the contract has had an independent audit before dealing, and do not put in money you cannot afford to lose. Buying channels is a risky market suited to people who know the field.
