Iris Black Diamond: Chat Moderation Bot

A large chat without a moderator becomes a dumping ground: spam, raids, links to shady sites. Iris Black Diamond keeps order in your group and adds a bit of play on top: ranks, rewards and leaderboards. 💎

It is the premium edition of the Iris chat manager for group chats. It answers faster than the standard one and supports premium emoji.

How Black Diamond differs from the basic Iris

The basic Iris is free. Black Diamond is a separate bot with extended features, and it works only in chats with Premium status. It has its own message processing stream, so replies to commands in a busy chat come very fast. ⚡

Data, marriages, relationships and settings carry over when you move from one edition to another, so switching will not wipe your group's history. For the conditions of getting Premium status and the price, check the official Iris channels.

Spam and raid protection

Moderation is the main job. In that area the bot offers:

• Automatic protection. Defense against spam, raids and unwanted content.
• Warnings. A warning system with configurable triggers.
• Moderator ranks. Five levels, from zero (an ordinary member) to five, the creator, who can use every command.

A ladder of permissions helps: you can trust an assistant with deleting spam without handing over the whole chat.

Profiles, reputation and leaderboards

Each member gets a profile with activity statistics. There is a reputation module, rewards for motivation, an internal currency and rankings of the most active people. 🏆

For communities this keeps people around. When conversation earns points, a chat feels livelier. Do not overdo it though: a ranking should be fun, not a race for message counts.

Marriages, relationships and roleplay

Members can enter virtual marriages and relationships, whisper private messages to each other and use roleplay commands. It is entertainment for casual communities. 💬

In work or niche chats you may want to restrict these features so they do not pull attention away from the topic.

Connecting it to your chat

1. Add the bot to your group through Telegram search.
2. Open the group settings and the Administrators section.
3. Find the bot in the member list and make it an admin.
4. Read the command list in the Iris community help and set up ranks.

Do not hand out high ranks to random people. Rank five gives access to all commands, so keep it for yourself or your most reliable helper. 🔑
