Gorilla Case: Cases and PvP

Gorilla Case is a Telegram Mini App where people open cases with NFT items and play several luck-based modes. One free case is available per day. The project channel also lists crash, roulette, slots, eggs and upgrade. 🦍

It is a gambling service meant only for adults, 18+. Below is what the modes are and what a participant risks.

The set of modes

There are many modes, but nearly all boil down to one thing: you put in value and the system randomly decides the outcome.

• Cases. You open a container and get a random NFT item. One case per day is free.
• PvP. A contest against other players where the winner takes the shared pool.
• Roulette and slots. Classic casino formats. A generator decides the outcome.
• Crash. The multiplier grows and you must cash out in time.
• Eggs. You buy an egg and wait for what hatches.
• Upgrade. You swap an item for a pricier one with some probability, and lose it if it fails.

What an upgrade really is

An upgrade looks like a handy way to improve an item, but it is a bet: the item either turns into an expensive one or vanishes. The chance of success shrinks as the prize grows.

If you want to keep what you have, do not put it into an upgrade.

Example: an item worth 100 units is swapped for one worth 1000. A fair chance of success would be about ten percent, and the operator's is usually lower because of the fee. Nine attempts out of ten end with the original item lost.

The free case every day

The daily reward introduces the app and builds a habit of visiting. The case itself costs nothing, while other modes usually ask you to put in gifts or top up the balance.

Where the operator's edge comes from

• Price above the average prize. In cases and eggs the average value of contents is below the price.
• PvP fee. A share of the duel pool goes to the operator.
• Multipliers below fair. In roulette, slots and crash, payouts are calculated so the service stays ahead on average.

The project is surrounded by referral links and "testing" videos. The video author is rewarded when you follow the link. A video shows selected lucky episodes while the typical result stays off-screen.

How not to lose extra

1. Set a limit and do not raise it during play.
2. Do not stake items and gifts that would hurt to lose.
3. Check the bot's name: the project has namesakes with similar titles that are unrelated to it.
4. Ask for help only from the support contact in the project's profile.
5. Keep children and teenagers away from such services.

The law

Prize cases, roulette and crash are licensed or banned depending on the country. If gambling is not allowed where you live, or you are under 18, you must not use the service.
