Daos hub: $50,000 Prize Draw

A $50,000 draw sounds like a reason to be wary, and that is the right reaction. Let us look at what the Daos hub mini-app is and how to tell a genuine promotion from a trap. 🎟

We rely on the bot's description and the organizer's public announcements.

What Daos hub is

Daos hub Dubai presents itself as a place for web3 startups and innovators. It is a phygital space where a physical office is joined with digital services. The first hub in Dubai, about 19 thousand square feet, was due to launch in December 2024, as the organizer announced.

The company was a Diamond Sponsor of the Gateway 2024 conference, which was held around the TON ecosystem.

What the mini-app offers

The bot's description says you can take part in a draw for a $50,000 prize pool sponsored by Daos hub Dubai. According to public information, the promotion was aimed at the Gateway community and ran through a Telegram bot.

This is a marketing promotion, not an investment and not a way to earn.

Why draws call for caution

• Timing: the announcements are dated 2024, so the promotion may have ended long ago. Confirm that it is current with the organizer.
• Fakes: scam bots with similar names often pose as popular giveaways.
• Requests for a fee: a genuine draw never asks you to pay to enter or to collect a prize.
• Wallet: connecting a wallet exposes your funds if you approve too much.

How to verify it is real

1. Compare the bot's address with what the organizer posts in official channels.
2. Check the date of the promotion and the entry terms.
3. Read which data and permissions the app requests.
4. Never enter a seed phrase or Telegram codes, even if asked to confirm a prize.

Scammers love big sums because they switch off common sense. 🧠

Odds and expectations

In a draw with many participants the chance of winning is small. Treat entering as a free lottery ticket, not as a money plan.

Do not invite friends if you are not sure about the promotion yourself: you answer for your own recommendations.

Who it interests

People who follow the web3 industry and events around TON and want to see how organizers draw in a community. For everyone else it is simply a chance to check where the promotion stands.

If you want to earn money, look for verifiable ways. Draws are not on that list.
