Meowbry: your favorite characters, in chat

Talk to the hero of your favorite anime, quiz a book character about their motives, or invent a companion with a personality of your own. Meowbry brings that kind of chat into a regular Telegram conversation, with no separate app or new account. 🐱

The bot connects to a popular AI character platform and is upfront about it: the characters are not people, they are an AI playing a role.

Getting started

1. Start. Tap Open, then Start. If Mira messages first, reply in the same window.
2. Pick a hero. /begin lets you choose a character yourself.
3. Catalog. /characters offers search by name, a browsable catalog and character creation.
4. Past chats. /chats_history takes you back to any conversation.
5. Profile. /profile shows your balance and active plans.

Your own character in minutes

There are plenty of ready-made heroes, but the fun really starts when you build one. Set a name, personality, way of speaking and backstory, and the AI answers in that role. ✍️

• Personality. The more specific, the livelier the replies.
• Scene. Describe where the conversation happens and who you are in the story.
• Style. Say whether the hero is brief or chatty, serious or funny.

Coins, Premium and free mode

This part is easy to mix up, so step by step. 💰

• Standard mode. Each character reply costs coins.
• Tasks. Earn coins by completing tasks via /task.
• Character Premium. Unlimited messages in standard mode for a chosen period.
• Free mode. A separate product with a set number of replies and an access period.

Premium and free mode don't include each other, they are separate purchases. Prices, durations and renewal terms appear before payment.

When a character won't answer

The platform behind the characters has its own rules. Sometimes it refuses a specific character or restricts replies.

• Temporary error. Resend later. Your history is kept, and coins for the failed reply are refunded.
• Blocked by rules. Reword your message or, if you have access, switch the chat to free mode in its settings.

Photos and voice

Characters can describe photos you send, while access to voice and photo analysis depends on your plan. The bot doesn't generate new images, it only talks. 📷

Healthy limits

An AI companion is great for fun, creativity and language practice, but keep a few things in mind. ⚠️

• It isn't a person. Even a very lifelike character is still an AI.
• Personal data. Don't share addresses, passwords or ID details, since chats are processed on servers.
• Budget. Coins go fast, so decide in advance how much to spend.
• Balance. If chatting with a bot starts replacing real friends, take a break.
