About this App
Found a bug in Telegram, or wish the messenger had one specific feature? Messaging random people is pointless. Telegram has an official place for exactly this: Bugs and Suggestions, which opens as a mini app. 🐞
Here is how to use it so your idea gets noticed instead of lost among hundreds of others.
Where your reports really go
This is not a support chat or a form on some third-party project's site. It is Telegram's official platform, where users report errors and propose new features. All cards are visible at once, yours and everyone else's.
So the first rule is to search before you write. Chances are somebody has already described your problem, and you can simply add your vote.
Vote, don't duplicate
Cards have ratings and comments. If you find your topic, vote and add the missing detail: app version, device, steps to reproduce.
Duplicates only clutter the feed. A clear comment on an existing card, on the other hand, really helps whoever reads it later.
Posting your own card
- Open the bot. Find Bugs and Suggestions in Telegram, and the mini app launches.
- Search by keyword. The search field at the top shows similar cards.
- Pick the type. Use the report button for an error and the suggestion button for an idea.
- Keep it short and specific. What you expected, what happened, on which platform.
Bug or suggestion?
A bug is something broken: a message won't send, a button doesn't respond, the app crashes. A suggestion is something that doesn't exist yet: a new setting, gesture or mode.
People mix them up often. If you ask to change behavior that was designed that way, it is a suggestion, not an error. Choosing the right type speeds up review.
Filters and statuses
You can view all cards, only issues or only suggestions, and sort by rating or by time. There are views by tag too, for example for Telegram's web version.
Cards carry statuses such as fixed or added. Check the fixed section: it shows what has been done, and sometimes you learn that the feature you wanted already shipped in a recent update.
Writing so people read it
- One topic per card. Two ideas in one text are harder to review.
- Steps. List what to tap to reproduce the error.
- Platform. Name your device, system and app version.
- Calm tone. Emotion doesn't speed up a fix.
Never post phone numbers, passwords, login codes or other people's personal data in a card, because the page is visible to others. 🔐
When to go elsewhere
If your account is banned, money has disappeared or you were scammed, this platform won't solve it: it collects errors and ideas rather than handling personal cases. Telegram has separate ways to contact support for those situations.
One more caveat: replies don't come instantly, and not every idea gets built. Still, the public rating shows what many people want.
