The goal of blackjack is to get as close to 21 points as possible without going over. The basic rules:

• Face cards are worth 10 points each.

• Hit or stand. You may take another card or stop.
• The dealer. The dealer plays after you, and the totals are compared.

2. At 11 or lower, always take a card, since you cannot bust.
3. On 12 to 16, look at the dealer's open card: stand if it is weak, hit if it is strong.

Even a perfect strategy does not guarantee a win. The deal stays random, so experienced players lose too.
