About this App
Stablecoins sit in your wallet doing nothing, and hunting for the best rate across TON by hand is tedious. Beetroot Finance tries to take that off your plate: you deposit USDT, and the system spreads it across yield-earning protocols on the network. 💎
It is an automated yield farming aggregator on the TON blockchain, available on the web and as a Telegram mini app. Here is how it works and where the snags are.
What the aggregator does
Instead of searching for the best rate yourself, an algorithm looks for yield opportunities, allocates funds, and rebalances when conditions change.
- USDT deposit. You put in a stablecoin rather than a volatile coin.
- Automation. The system routes money into stablecoin lending across the TON ecosystem and reallocates it.
- ROOT token. Yield accrues automatically and shows up in the value of the ROOT token in your wallet.
- Withdrawal. When you redeem ROOT, you get back the stablecoin you put in plus accrued yield. According to the project, there is no lockup.
What the user path looks like
- Open the bot and launch the mini app with /start.
- Connect a TON wallet through the standard confirmation window.
- Deposit a small trial amount of USDT.
- Check that ROOT tokens appear in your wallet.
- Try withdrawing part of the funds to confirm that withdrawal works.
The bot also has a /report command, which sends a message to the admins if something goes wrong.
Yield farming in plain words
When you place stablecoins in a DeFi protocol, other users borrow or trade them, and you receive a share of the fees and interest. An aggregator simply automates the choice of where to place them.
This is not a bank deposit. No government insures it, and rates shift every day. A high percentage means higher risk, not a free bonus.
Where the catch is
Every DeFi service carries risk, and it is better to know it upfront. Here the picture is complicated by the project being small: the amount of funds in it is modest, and public activity is low.
- Smart contract risk. A bug in the code can lead to lost funds even if the interface looks perfect.
- Protocol risk. The aggregator depends on the protocols where it places money. A failure in one of them reaches you too.
- Stablecoin risk. USDT can drift away from the dollar.
- A quoted rate is not a guarantee. Any yield figures on a project site are the project's own claims, not a promise.
- Small scale. Small projects shut down more often and pass audits less often.
How to limit losses if you try it
Start with an amount whose loss you can calmly absorb. Test a withdrawal with a small part of the deposit before adding more.
Look for public smart contract audit reports and follow project news. Do not trust private messages offering to "speed up your income" or "verify your wallet": real support never works that way. ⚠️
Who this is for
Experienced TON users who already know what DeFi is and accept the risk. Beginners are better off learning an ordinary wallet, transfers, and security first, and only then thinking about yield farming.
Never type or share your seed phrase: the app does not need it to work. 🔐
