About this App
You open a busy group and the first screen is ten lines of "Alex joined", "Maria added Oleg", "Peter left". The real conversation is somewhere underneath. AntiServiceMessageBot deletes those lines for you.
It works in groups and supergroups. There are no daily commands to learn: add it, give it permission, and the feed gets calmer.
What disappears from the chat
Service messages are created by Telegram itself, not by members. The bot removes these:
- Joins. Someone arrived through an invite link or found the group on their own.
- Adds. A member or admin brought another person in.
- Leaves. Someone left or was removed.
Messages written by people stay untouched. The bot only looks at the system notes about group membership.
Setup in about two minutes
- Add the bot to your group as a regular member.
- Open the admin list and promote the bot.
- Turn on the permission to delete messages. Nothing else is needed.
- Join or leave with a second account to test it. The notice should vanish almost at once.
Without the delete permission the bot can do nothing, because Telegram does not let accounts without that right remove other people's messages.
Where it helps most
Noisy chats benefit the most: hobby communities, work groups with frequent turnover, shop chats, and channel comment sections with open access. The more people come and go, the longer the junk trail in the feed.
There is another reason. When many newcomers arrive in a short time, system lines bury the history, and an important announcement gets hard to find. Without them the feed reads like a dialogue.
Scale and limits
The authors say the bot has deleted more than 100 million service messages. It belongs to a set of ad-free tools for group owners from the same team. 🧹
Telegram caps how many delete requests a bot can send. If a thousand notices pile up at once, the bot may clear them gradually instead of instantly. It catches up on its own.
Good to know before you add it
- Newer notice types. Telegram occasionally adds new kinds of system entries, such as ones about voice chats. Not every type is necessarily covered by this bot.
- Pinned notes. Removing the note about a pinned message can be risky, since a notification may be attached to it.
- No undo. Deleted entries do not come back, but they are only lines about people coming and going.
If you want rules, captcha checks and welcome texts, look at a full group manager. This bot does one job and stays out of everything else. ✅
Permissions and safety
Admin rights sound heavy, but only message deletion is required here. Do not grant extras: the bot has no reason to invite users, ban people or edit the group description.
If you run a group, review the admin list from time to time and remove bots you no longer use. It is basic hygiene for any chat. 🔒
