ऐप के बारे में
विवरण अभी आपकी भाषा में उपलब्ध नहीं है, इसलिए इसे अंग्रेज़ी में दिखाया गया है।
A token is pumping, the group chat is shouting to buy, and you hit the swap button. A minute later you learn you cannot sell it at all. That trap is called a honeypot, and RugWard exists to catch it before your money is gone.
You send the bot a contract address, it detects the chain and replies with a short verdict and plain-language findings. No reading code, no juggling spreadsheets.
What happens after /scan
The command is /scan followed by the contract address, plus an optional chain tag (eth, base, arb, polygon, op, avax). If you skip the chain, the bot tries to detect it on its own.
RugWard then simulates a buy and a sell of the token. This is the key step: many traps look fine on a chart and in a name, but a simulated sale shows right away whether selling works.
The report covers checks like these:
- Honeypot. Can you sell after buying at all, or not.
- Buy and sell tax. A cut of every trade can go straight to the owner.
- Owner powers. Minting new supply, pausing trading, blacklisting addresses.
Every finding is written in everyday words, so a newcomer can follow along. 🔍
Seven chains in one bot
Supported networks are BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Avalanche. All seven are EVM chains where scam tokens appear daily and look almost identical.
The same address can belong to different projects on different chains, so name the chain yourself whenever the bot is unsure.
A guard for your group
Run a crypto chat? Add RugWard to the group. It scans contract addresses that members post and answers with a risk verdict and findings, so nobody has to check every token by hand. 🛡️
In the chat settings (/settings) you can switch on auto-delete for posts marked DANGER, meaning honeypot tokens. It is optional, and the decision belongs to your community admins.
The practical value is simple: chats full of excited token calls attract scammers, and an instant verdict under each address cools down the most dangerous pitches.
Watching tokens and buy reminders
/watch sets alerts for a token or a wallet, /watchlist shows what the chat follows, and /unwatch turns an alert off.
/dca creates reminders for a recurring buy, for example weekly for a set amount. The bot only reminds you. You sign the actual transaction in your own wallet. Check plans with /dcalist and stop one with /dcastop.
What it will never ask for
According to its profile, RugWard never asks for keys or payments. The project describes itself as non-custodial: it does not hold your funds or private keys.
If anyone claiming to be a checker asks for a seed phrase or wants you to connect a wallet to an unfamiliar page, that is a scammer, not a scanner.
The scanner is free, and the project says it runs on donations.
Reading a verdict without overtrusting it
An automated check lowers risk but never erases it. It is not financial advice, and the authors say so themselves. A new token can look clean today, then the owner changes its behavior through a proxy upgrade or pulls the liquidity.
- Scan the contract and read every finding, not only the final rating.
- See who holds the supply and whether liquidity is locked.
- Start with an amount you can afford to lose.
- Double-check the chain, because an address from a chat may belong to another network.
If the findings worry you, the best trade is the one you skip. 💡
