Yandex ID: Link Telegram

You already have a Yandex account: mail, disk, orders, subscriptions. When a service asks you to sign in with Yandex ID and sends the confirmation to Telegram, this bot steps in. It links your Telegram with your Yandex account. 🔗

The profile says it plainly: the bot of the Yandex ID service, it lets you link Telegram to your account. There are no extra features, and that is the point.

What the link does

Linking lets Yandex services talk to you in the messenger. Through the bot you confirm sign-ins to web services and receive system notifications, security alerts included.

The convenience is that you need neither a separate app nor an SMS wait. The message arrives where you already spend your day.

Four commands instead of settings

• /start begins linking your account.
• /link does the same: it links Telegram with the account.
• /unlink removes the link when you no longer need it.
• /help shows a hint.

Being able to unlink in one step matters. Changed your phone, sold an old account, closed Telegram: remove the link right away.

How to link your account

1. Open the bot with the button on this page and press /start.
2. Follow the prompts and confirm sign-in to your Yandex account.
3. Wait for the message that the link succeeded.
4. Check that notifications really come from this bot.

Do all confirmations only in Yandex's official interfaces. The bot should never ask for your password in chat.

Telling the real bot from a copy

Anything tied to logins attracts phishing. Scammers create a bot with a similar name and ask you to "confirm your account" or enter an SMS code.

• Check the bot name and the verification badge in its profile.
• Never forward passwords or confirmation codes in chat.
• Reach the bot only through links from official sources.
• If a message rushes you and threatens a block, be suspicious.

When to remove the link

If you lost access to Telegram, sold your phone number or noticed suspicious sign-ins, unlink the account with /unlink and change your Yandex password.

That way even after a leak, an attacker will find it harder to use the notification channel.
