About this App
Your channel needs readers, or your bot has traffic and earns nothing. SubGram sits between those two problems: advertisers buy subscribers, bot owners get paid for showing sponsor offers. 🤝
Everything happens in the chat. /start opens the main menu and /topup adds money to your balance.
Two sides of one market
The service connects advertisers with bot owners. An advertiser wants channel subscribers, starts of their own bot or clicks. A bot owner wants their audience to bring in income.
The link between them is a mandatory subscription block, often shortened to OP in the bot-owner community. A user sees a list of sponsor channels, subscribes, and only then gets the bot feature they came for. The industry calls this motivated traffic: people arrive for access, not for the channel itself.
Placing an order, step by step
As an advertiser you go through four stages:
- Order. In the subscriber purchase section you name the resource, the volume and the conditions.
- Moderation. The order is checked before it goes live.
- Settings. After approval you set limits, distribution, unsubscribe tracking and launch time.
- Price. You pick a starting price from the range shown in the interface. The final amount is locked before you confirm.
There is no fixed price list. A higher price raises delivery priority, and extra targeting adds multipliers. The official FAQ uses an example of 2 rubles per subscriber, yet your order will have its own number.
Targeting and unsubscribe refunds
You can narrow the audience with several filters:
- Gender and age. Estimated by probability, so treat them as approximate.
- Fake check. A separate anti-fraud flag.
- Name. Three options: Russian name, Cyrillic name and a "RU name" filter.
- Country, city, device, system. Collected through a questionnaire or a smart redirect and priced higher.
Unsubscribes are counted weekly. A refund is automatic when the order is for a channel or chat, the SubGram bot stays an admin until the end of the week, unsubscribe tracking is on, and the person joined and left within the same Monday to Sunday week.
The money returns to your balance and the system looks for a replacement.
Running your own bot on it
As an owner you plug in the sponsor block and get paid per completed action. There are two modes. SubGram can display the block itself, or it can return only links through the integration, which lets you design the screen, mix in your own sponsors or work inside a mini app.
There is no set rate per subscription. Payment depends on the order, the accepted results and the audience profile, and nobody guarantees income. If a user leaves within the same week, the amount is taken back from your balance. 💰
To fight fake traffic the service may ask a user for country, city, device and system. The questionnaire appears only for people it has no data on yet.
Bots that get turned down
The rules are strict, so wait for moderation before you wire the block in. The FAQ lists these rejections:
- bots that pay people for subscribing or inviting friends;
- brand new bots with no history from newcomers;
- bots where the benefit for the user is unclear;
- bots whose name does not match their topic;
- 18+ projects;
- bots flagged as scams in third-party statistics;
- anything illegal or against Telegram rules.
The catch
A motivated subscriber joined for access, not out of interest. Some of them will leave, and many will never read a post. Look at retention and reactions, not only the subscriber count. ⚠️
For external sites and mini apps the service cannot confirm an action directly. It assumes a visit happened if the person finished a verified sponsor in the same block, so statistics may not match perfectly. Start with small limits and compare the numbers.
Bot owners should think about their own users too. A forced subscription irritates part of the audience, and some people simply close the bot. Keep the block short and do not build all your income on it.
Payment goes through an internal prepaid balance. It cannot be transferred to another user, and the refund terms for unused funds sit in the official documents. Read the offer before your first top up. 📄
