Every group chat has someone whose birthday everybody remembers a day late. Sobirapp Birthdays fixes that: the bot keeps a birthday calendar for the chat and reminds people of the dates on its own. 🎂

You do not need to keep dozens of dates in your head or maintain notes. The bot does it and gathers everyone for the greeting.

How the bot learns the dates

You add it to a group, and it invites members to enter their birth date in a private conversation with it. Only the day and month are required, so nobody has to share a birth year.

Two tips for the group admin

Do not force people to enter dates. Explain in the chat what the bot is for and let everyone decide. Some people dislike celebrating, and that is fine.

In a big chat, post a second reminder about a week later. Some members miss the first message.
